Tikka T3 Thread

It looks like we are finally seeing some over-the-barrel cans made and available in the US. Don’t know why it took so long but glad to see it. Now to figure out which one to get for a hunting rifle. The B.O.B. from savage is one but it’s a bit heavy and haven’t seen reviews yet.

GAP has had the Jager OTB can made by Mack Brothers for several years.

Agreed, over the several AIs I have owned the accuracy has always been premium (both UK Border barrels & US Tooley / Bart barres), but to me what sets AI rifles apart is the consistency and lack of trouble. I have owned 5 or 6 and never had one issue, even with some fuckery of debonding and going the MPA / 6mmBR route on one…

We may finally know who’s been to the island

Rifle Scopes New for 2025, the Kahles K540i

Weird because all these people that actually own it and use it all the time say it doesn’t. Funny how the internet works.
Funny how comparisons with some of the top shooters in prs with them side by side said otherwise…. In fact a few of them wear Kahles hats.

In fairness, lots of accurate factory offerings out there far less than an AI, but few offer a full suite of features,

Wish everything was KeyMo instead of MLOK on QD barrel systems. ARCA is table stakes these days. Fully adjustable stock and LOP, table stakes.

I get the argument that a hunting rifle doesn't need all these features, and it doesn't especially with the weight penalty.
