I appreciate the feedback, guys. I think I'm going with the one linked by @CK1.0 and @LeftyJason . I wished I already had it this afternoon as my 6BR got an overdue cleaning. It wear the APA 4-port brake with the little top ports in it... which I discovered wuite awhile back just clog up with carbon and do nothing... it has a nitride or some other black coating on it which I assume CLR will eat or discolor, so ultrasonic should help with that as well as cans and BCGs...

Just ran the question by my contact at MAZTECH….15k beam divergence is .8 mils which is supposed to be the same as raptar and mars. He didn’t have the spec for the 2k version handy.

A bit of a teaser here but I have my impact 4k, fire 4k and MAZTECH 2k side by side compare filmed. Hope to get that launched maybe next weekend if all goes to plan.

Just watched your follow on video and really enjoyed it man, thanks for the great content.

I did have a quick follow, you mentioned that the Maztech unit has an expansion capability for potential future IR illumination to pair with the pointer. Do you have any more info on that? Does it attach external to the unit or is there an unused spot behind the glass of the unit that could be occupied with a IR illuminator

I have that same anbull 4.5l one. Bought it in 2022 from other recommendations here.

Works great. Can do longer cleaning cycles than the one that @powdahound76 has.

Shot another match this past weekend and rifle performed great, I'm definitely putting the poor performance at the last match down to ammo.

I had a chance to shoot/play with a few other chassis (ACC Gen2, MPA Matrix, Vision Pro) the Tikka chassis definitely feels a bit cheap compared to these other chassis, but I think it's just the use of plastic and the grip that does that.

Performance wise the ACE chassis really doesn't have any major downsides, I think they've intentionally made it as light weight as possible which inevitably makes it feel less solid.

I think I stick by my original thoughts that you'd be better off buying a T1x MTR and a ACC Gen2 rather than the ACE, unless you want a lightweight chassis 22lr.
I've compared the ACE chassis to my T1x Bravo and I definitely like the ACE more, so it's not like I think the ACE is bad at all.


On a side note, the Vision Pro is a seriously nice chassis. I would definitely consider one of those in the future.
