All the okies doing it wrong?
A proper end mill is best (like @David Lott posted), as it has no point like a drill and will clean the entirety of the blind hole for the pin. It's best to have no, or a very small, corner radius.I assume a late 2024 Vudoo is cerakoted. Hand tap or drill good enough? I don’t have a workspace to fixture or drill press.
Some more modern bullets post-date the wylde chamber. 85.5 Berger comes to mind, I think the ideal throat/fb or whatever for 85.5 is around 100, but I'd have to check my notes. [ETA my notes show ideal "spec" FB for the 85.5 Hybrid @ 0.99 and for Beger 90VLD Target @ 1.06.]
This is what I use to fix the issue.I assume a late 2024 Vudoo is cerakoted. Hand tap or drill good enough? I don’t have a workspace to fixture or drill press.
Pro tip! When the weave wig comes off you better GTFO it’s about to go down.
Other than that I’m down with Waffle House.
Yes, the pencil flame is more precise, but the swirl is a little hotter and the faster I can heat up the neck the sooner I can drop the case out of the flame. And the sooner the case is out of the flame, less heat will flow down the case. That's my theory behind it.I found that using a pencil flame torch like the one below allowed for more precise heating and kept the heat away from the body.

What was your round count for the run last year?
Only time I stop at McDonald’s is to pee when I’m traveling. Other than that, fuck that shit. I haven’t eaten a McDonald’s hamburger since 1986.
The problem is one of 2 things we have seen, if it is cerakoted it most likely has too much cerakote in the pin pocket or it is not deep enough. An 1/8" endmill will solve that problem and allow the rail to sit flush to the action if you're the DIYer kinda guy.You know, my recent Vudoo was slightly off level so far as the rail to receiver relationship or at least I thought so when leveling the scope. Worth bothering with a new base?
