Ukraine war Bullshit.

There is no fucking way right now Russian losses are higher than Ukraine's. Not even close. Id bet large amount of money but it will be years if ever those numbers are officially estimated.
TBH I couldn't give a fk about those numbers. The only number that matters to me is the amount of cash and weapons value that the U.S. government, including NATO stuff the US has paid for, that has been sent to Ukraine. Total fucking waste of the U S taxpayers money on an un-winable war. FK Uke.

Tikka T3 Thread

Hey mate what are your thoughts on that scope, I’m pretty interested in one
Mate for the money its pretty good for a chinesium OEM scope. Good solid turret adjustments, tracks, good versatile reticle for holds. my only gripes are that the Magnification adjustment is very stiff, and it has a bot of CA at 16x in bright sunlight. But for a budget rig it fits the bill.

Tim Kennedy is a liar

Almost like an addict who couldn't help themselves.
I think that’s more team guys than not. There’s an addiction to feeling important.

Same drive that gets you through training and being an operator is the same thing that can make you a douche bag to everyone else, especially when your op tempo slows.

Just my general opinion

Suppressors Suppressor transfers in the no tax stamp era

Going back to post #1, doesn't sound like he has anybody additional on his trust other than himself. He may be looking to transfer his stuff to his trust and then add additional persons to the trust. So, to the OP and others in his position, additional persons are all going to have to get background checks.
The trust I have is easy to amend. I also have access to free notary services at work. I have no suppressors in it. I went the individual route for my first suppressor at a local gun shop. I filed at 3pm Monday. I was approved and picked up the suppressor at 11am Wednesday. Then I bought suppressors from CA and SS, also as an individual. CA took five weeks, SS took 3 weeks before I received them. The form4 approval, however, was still only 48 hours in both cases. Their other processes took a long time. I have been sticking to local gun shops since. I'll see how things settle next year.

Edit: My wife is on the trust as a trustee/beneficiary. I can easily do the 41F Hokey Pokey if I need to. There would be no issues with her getting a background check either. Again, at this point, the suppressors are already in hand.

People who dump kittens and puppies should be strung up….

of the 5 i have had here, all are foundlings-three found me. the other 2 took about 6 weeks to get near me. now the 2 left are after me all the time.
cats are easy. admire those that take in dogs of any age. you just don't know what you are getting. they are social group animals so seems it usually works out. semi rural so there are frequent strays around, dogs and cats both.
the one above could be the twin of my newest. had him about 2 years.

MTG wakes up to the fact, taxes are nothing but legalized theft

Did she see my sig, its only been there for about 20+ years

Meh... She's been the quintessential yappy Chihuahua (cue @LBC's favorite meme) since she first landed in DC... Let me know when/if she actually gets something meaningful accomplished

Long range 22 LR

I had a tikka t1x with a 20” LW barrel in a krg bravo with a bunch of weights. It shot absolutely lights out for me with eley ammo. The only thing I didn’t love was the bolt was somewhat rough, the magazines are tiny, and the ejector was weak. This only applied to rimfire PRS, fr any other type of plinking or steel out to 340 yards (max length at my local range without driving 45 minutes) it was a hammer.

I shoot a Vudoo because it addresses my only complaints with the tikka and I love it. I’ll have a rimx action sometime in the next month if their lead times are accurate and I’m sure it’ll be the same.

Otherwise, the tikka is a killer rifle minus those three little complaints.

Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?

Good move to get the safe up off the floor. Regular quickrete is fine, no PSI to worry about with for a gun safe. Use a mixer and carry it down in 1/2 filled 5 gallon buckets. I use a concrete vibrator to get rid of the voids. I think you can rent one of about $100.

You can tapcon the form.

You could skip the concrete and do a 2X12" (taller) wood box tapconned to the slab from the inside. Taller is better, brother in law go 10" of water a month ago, contents of safe probably damaged.

Does anyone stand with Berger?

I load Hornady, SMK, and Berger. My AR does a great job with Hornady, my Seekins and 6creedmoor shoot SMK bullets great, but my match rifle eats bergers because they really are just better.

There is never a second guess in my head “is it my equipment or me”, if I miss, it’s me. Last weekend I shot a pretty brutal match with some stages designed by satan. I’ve shot a ton of stuff competitively, idpa, USPSA, steel challenge, rimfire PRS, ATA trap, sporting clays, etc over the years. Some of them I’m damn good at.

Pretty sure if I wasn’t last, I was second to last last weekend but I can 100% say it wasn’t the equipment or ammo, it was me so I need to work on me and ladders and portholes, I don’t need to do another load work up. Just takes one more thing out of the equation so I stick with Berger hybrids when it counts.
