How is it demanding on the equipment? Serious question as I don’t know about that sport and can see it being demanding on the shooter being slung up but not so much on the equipment. What’s their round counts in a match?

Much like optics, there is a law of diminishing returns when it comes to mounts as well. Back in the early 2k's, all I ran was Badger bases and rings because they were "the best" back then. Obviously a lot has changed since then. For me, I still want quality but I have trouble grasping the concept that a $350 mount can do the same thing over 1.5 times better than my $150 Badger rings that have served me well for literally decades. I'm not hating here, I've had Spuhr, Geiselle, etc mounts and they are really nice and if that's your thing, do it. I am simply saying that from a budget stand point, quality is available at different price points. Now when it comes to levels, diving boards, etc, your options begin to get smaller and that is definetly where the high end mounting solutions really shine. For the OP, since you are setting a gas gun, you will almost have to run a 1.5'ish cantilever mount which again reduces your options. Personally I would consider a Geiselle or Vortex precision series cantilever mount.

NFA needs to go away including ATF. as i understand it,suppressors are mandatory for hunting in some Euro countries? the whole pistol BS is a result of gov SBR restrictions. there COULD be some discussion about full auto. hardly anybody can afford them except cartels due to long standing import bans. love to have 1 but couldn't afford to feed it and cleaning it would be a major pain in my ass.
the setup for deep gov surveillance is never going away. the 2nd is never going be allowed to exist in the way that it was meant. the no tax thing is just a sop to 2A believers. the gov wants to weaken any chance of effective resistance. if we had gotten Harris they would have gone after BA hunting rifles as "sniper" rifles.

Size a peice with your die and see if it fits. If it still extracts hard, it's proabaly gonna be a problem.

It’s still a back door way to get people registered. A registration, even $0 registration, makes us sheep get used to being tracked. That’s literally why most pols, of either “party” like them. Control is such an addiction.

Same, I won’t buy anything less than 1.50. That’s why we have adjustable stocks. There is nothing worse than buying some wives tale advice about height over bore and slamming your scope so low that you have to shove the stock through your cheek bone to get into the eye box. Buy tall enough rugs to get the damn thing off the receiver and then adjust the stock to fit.

Comfort and repeatable cheek weld is way more important that bore height, levels have been around for a long time, height doesn’t matter if you use the tools available to you.
