New Berger 375 bullet 410 hybrid

Yup. I feel your pain. Bought 3 last week.

If I loaded to 4.515" in new Peterson brass, the junction of the shank and the boattail would be up in the neck about 0.100" - that is, it would be loaded too long, with too little neck support. Maybe even 0.150" too long. So this reported COAL demands some explanation.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Кстати Хуан по русски - Ванюша.

Putler - Хуйло (means dick ) did worse than say it, he believed it.
All the projects for which he allocated huge funds to buy up politicians in Ukraine, the media, agencies, all the secret reports that Ukraine would not fight and would fall... his friends told him so because they were sitting on the streams of money to conquer Ukraine.
Now this loser has no choice but to fight the North Koreans or get hit in the head with a snuffbox if he signs peace without lifting sanctions and recognizing the annexations.

No matter how much shit comes out of your mouth your eyes will still be brown.

U.S. Engineers Find ‘Rogue Communication Devices’ in Chinese Solar Panels

How long have we been saying on SH that this shit is going to be in everything we get from Chinese… especially things like HAM radios, scopes and electronic devices, phones, cameras, energy generation devices…

Years. We been saying it for years!!!!

But Noooooooooo we were just conspiracy theorists.

How is it demanding on the equipment? Serious question as I don’t know about that sport and can see it being demanding on the shooter being slung up but not so much on the equipment. What’s their round counts in a match?

My reason for the questions were in reference to the comments about 700 triggers whether pins or hangers, in PRS we shoot in the rain, extreme hot or cold and many times in very dusty conditions where dirt/sand is literally blown on and in the open chambers and the rifles will shoot without problems for a 100 shooters and 100 rounds or so in a match. That tells you in real-world applications that the current trigger systems work extremely well. Add the fact that there are roughly 365 matches a year in PRS rimfire alone now add NRL 22 and centerfire and you have a number of rounds combined that I think dominates any shooting sport. All with very low problems. Do triggers fail on occasion, yes, but it is very small for the sheer number of shots taking place.
Ahhh, my mistake. I thought it was in reference to demanding in terms of more precision. I will see myself to the door…

What did you do in the reloading room today?

The 3 way cutter was not being discussed, but might as well... there are additional cutters in the 3 way...but they still can leave a tiny burr, more pronounced when the cutters dull, and the angle or champher is cutting very little on the outside edge or just rubbing if shallow enough angle so less burr is noticed, because less pressure and little to no cutting is occurring at that spot, and one may see or feel a slight burr on one side because of runout, or out of roundness of the of the caliber hole in the case...as nothing is perfect.

Even form tools can leave a burr, with the whole profile being cut at once.
The pressure of the cut can flex the part being formed enough to allow incomplete 100% coverage between the part being formed and the form tool, a small burr will form.
Slightly dull tools or chatter can cause problems.
Thanks for your reply. I was looking for your more knowledgeable input.

I found the 3 way cutter head, like the one Giraud employs, can indeed leave a burr on the OD of the mouth when cutter position is not set up properly. . . AND when the cutter is dull. While I never experienced this my Giraud tool, I did experience it with the Trim It 2 that uses the very same cutter head design. With the latter, I kept getting a burr on the OD of the mouths and tried many adjustments trying to get rid of the resulting burr. I even changed to the different cutters on the cutter head and still no joy. Finally, I ordered a new cutter head from Giraud and put it into the Trim It 2, adjusted it and it worked perfectly. I get no detectable burr any longer. . .
. . . though I haven't used a microscope to see if there's really a microscopic one there. ;) :p

AAC ammo grenading rifles

I have shot probably 1000+ rounds of their 300 BLK subs and supers (both with cans) and have had zero issues. I did some velocity testing with three different barrel lengths. Let me see if I can dig up the link....

Gunsmithing Muzzle brake ruins muzzle crown

I'll say it, I'm skeptical. I've seen barrels with a muzzle device that'd have a crown get caked up with carbon, I've seen corrosion too, but I can't say that I've seen, experienced, or heard of a muzzle device causing any kind of gas cutting at the crown in so few rounds. You said that you removed the brake, re-crowned the muzzle and now it's back to its old self again shooting 1/2 MOA. Does that mean you shot the second 1/2 MOA group without the brake after the crown job? If that's the case, isn't it possible that the muzzle just had some carbon fouling on it and it didn't like having a clamp on device at the end?

I'm not saying that you didn't see a UFO but without pictures this largely becomes conjecture. It is a cautionary tale in muzzle devices though.

Dillon 650 Setup Confirmation/Advice

That's interesting, since I know the .300BO powder drop definitely goes into the ID of the case mouth (I ordered an Armanov one IIRC, because I didn't want to pay for a complete conversion kit when all I needed was the drop tube and the plastic case feed adapter, since I already had the .223 conversion kit).
Here’s a pic of the inside of an Armanov one I have it might flare it somehow but I can’t see anything that would indicate it’s indexing the drop inside the case.
