It’s not

"Trump, a Republican who won a second term in the White House promising mass deportations, is expected to declare illegal immigration a national emergency when he takes office on Jan. 20 and draw on resources from across the federal government to support a wide-ranging crackdown.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security estimated some 11 million immigrants were in the U.S. illegally as of January 2022, although the figure is likely higher today. In the NBC News interview, Welker asked Trump if his plan was to deport everyone without legal status.
"I think you have to do it," Trump said. "It’s a very tough thing to do. You know, you have rules, regulations, laws."

My 427 blower motor project.

I really miss building race cars and race trucks...cool project and tech. I remember playing with some of the early stand alone PCM's that you had to program through a wired controller. Super slow to program and play with. I never did any big blown cars but I was friends with a great cylinder head machinist that had a blown alcohol powered rail car for the vintage drags. He did a lot of work for the vintage NHRA guys and helped me a ton over the years.

The meanest car I ever did was a twin turbo fox body Mustang for a customer. It was only a 9 second car with a full interior and A/C. He had a giant speaker box in the back of the car too. It was fun running it on drag radials on the street and carrying the front tires across an intersection. I was more into road race and off road race stuff than going straight. I still appreciate big power and going to the drags.

The scariest cars I ever drove were an original Sunbeam Tiger with a 260/289 and Dan Gurney's Supra with a massive single turbo and a lot of work. I just drove the car but did not know what all was done. They had it tuned down to 25# of boost to drive it on the street. That old Tiger scared the shit out of me. It was way too light in the ass and liked to leave the ground on subtle elevation changes. Cool for the time period I guess.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Yes, this is pretty much the point.

I'm disappointed in Trump, Patel, Bongino and Bondi. But, I still have zero interest in ANY dimocrat in office. So.....we get what we get. Not much I can do about it, other than thank my lucky stars we don't have a dim administration.
yea,we never have a real win. we do have choices all bad. Gore vs Bush,Obama vs Romney,Trump vs Harris etc. i always vote. rarely vote FOR anyone always AGAINST someone. doubt i am unique there. seems every other time we get the better choice and it never seems to end up better long term or what was advertised.

New Applied Ballistics® Quantum™ APP! - & It's Free!

I've started using the app, hoping to find a replacement or Strelok Pro

First impressions are not great, I kind of hate the app tbh. Working on a list of constructive feed back at the moment.

My biggest issue at the moment is I can't get the DSF function to work, I'm using it for 22lr and the solutions it's giving me are not even close.

Is there a video or article that specifically talked about DSF tuning? I'll watch the video about tuning again amd try find out what im doing wrong.

Long range build advice

When I'm shooting through virgin brass for my 375, I tend to ask friends to come to the range and run through a number of rounds.

One trip I was going up to a private range and a friend was coming along. So, I ended up loading 30 rounds for the 375 for load dev, and 30 virgin, thinking that my friend would go through the 30 virgin rounds. The night before, he texts me and says he has Covid. Well... shit...

- I go by myself.
- I run the 30 for load dev
- My shoulder is going
- My cheek is feeling it
- I run the first 10 virgin rounds
- My shoulder hurts
- My cheek hurts
- By the last 10, I'm aiming at the target, pulling my head away from the cheek riser and scope, and wincing as my shoulder takes the hit

EDIT: As an aside, I can shoot my 300 PRC all day, and while my shoulder may feel it afterward, it never "hurts"
Everyone is different.
I needed to form brass for my 375 so I took it to shoot prairie dogs, shot 100 rounds in no time and wished I had more. LOL that was fun.
