Plane crash At Reagan National

After reading the NTSB preliminary report with the CVR info from PAT25, I think it is highly likely that PAT25 never saw the CRJ. I think they, or at least the pilot flying was referencing a different aircraft than the circling CRJ. The Pilot Monitoring in PAT25 may have seen the CRJ which may have increased the confusion in the Blackhawk.

At first glance I thought you’re were talking about coyote shooting and “LS” was some acronym for wild game, like (longus stinki-skunkus)

That corvette/mustang convo must’ve been with someone else. Unless it was the funniest thing ever. Then it was me. Lol

I do rapidly forget stuff…so might be my brain.

We did have a convo in which I accidentally reinvented some gun haha man I’m an idiot

What is the ideal SHTF optic?

Get something that can do double duty. Something that looks innocuous if seen. Get a standard issue (for long range stuff) pencil barrel hunting rifle, and put a fixed, steel tubed weaver on that bitch. Get it zeroed at your preferred distance, and learn your holdovers in your head. Bury ammo stashes and fill out an 'under' report (cache) and be done.
That way, "its my dads hunting rifle; it's been in this house for 50 years." So in case some martial law motherfuckers start goin door to door looking for tactical shit or pullin 4473s red dawn style, you dont stand out like a bulldogs ballsack. Use basic, proven stuff. Not standing out in public, or under an inspection, should always be a key consideration.

At some point the AT-XC owners will realize that they just got a gen 4 AT-X, along with all of the promised support the previous generations of the AT-X got too. However, the didn't have to source a few of the niceties that most of us gen 1-3 guys had to hunt for. However it cost them ~$600 more for AI to do it.

Everywhere else you bundle and save. AI you bundle and spread cheeks. :D

No lies detected. But, as always, we can remain dubiously hopeful lol.

Having spent my career building complex software, many many times the answer is obvious after having spent many many many hours/days/months doing it the wrong way. But getting to that obvious answer required detailed knowledge of the system and a lot of work. I had a saying, simple is not easy, it is very very hard. But it is obvious once it is found.

Innovation to me is like that. Understanding the system in depth and being able to apply the right answer to the problem. Not bandaids, but understanding root cause and fixing the real problems. Sometimes that is just the obvious answer once found.
There is also a "usability" component to the solution: if it's too hard to use, what effect does that have on marketability / market uptake?

I have met... too many... Vudoo buyers who loudly proclaimed the rifle was Garbage because it wouldn't feed. Damn near every time, the complainer was pushing the follower button all the way down and dumping in rounds, with the expected result of rim lock and misfeeds. This is not to discount real issues associated with some R700 stocks/chassis that simply would not hold magazines in the REQUIRED position; my original MPA chassis was one of those - and Phil Cashin fixed it, as Mike has described.

So, one of Mike's challenges is to "innovate" a feeding solution that's innovative/accurate/precise AND as idiot-proof as possible, while still being marketable. The reality is, while the R700 footprint may not be the optimal accuracy/precision solution, it has damn sure sold a crap ton of Vudoos, Rim-Xs, and Bergaras.

Just can't bring myself to spend a lot on a 22 scope.

I'm sure some of yall have tried all 3 of these, which of the 3 is top?

I may upgrade later if I'm sadly disappointed in my choices, but right now I got too many irons in the fire to justify 1000 dollar scope for something to set on the back porch and shoot targets and turtles.

Or if anyone has a used strike eagle for sale
