I don’t really care anything about Tillis, but just so we are all on the same page, we have a gigantic bill that at best keeps our current tax rates while the government continues to spend like a drunk in Vegas. Meanwhile telling us that even with control of congress and the senate and the presidency, they just can’t do anything about the NFA ( please don’t try to explain the Byrd rule or parliamentarian to me.) Our elected representatives will always have an excuse for why the only groups they fight for are lobbies with $$$$$$ behind them. Oh and we are going to create another giant, ridiculous loophole in the tax code for no tax on tips (for those of you out of touch with reality, the girl at Denny’s was not paying taxes on all her tips anyway.) Now can I pay my plumber $50 with a $400 tip? And then we have the SALT subsidies, so states can continue to tax people like their own personal ATMs and others will make up the shortfalls. We vote for them and they hook us up every time.

i kind of like its a butt kicker. at least one match a year needs to be.

day 2 killed us. first 4 stages my teammate dropped 20 shots. figured his barrel was toast. high. low. left. right. all over the place.

on a whim he leaned over and twisted his suppressor... yup loose. he dropped like 2 the next 8 stages and we climbed back into 3rd place, 10 pts behind 1st. tough to complain but love thinking about the what ifs.



will be back next year!!

Oh wow that’s short. I’m in Open Heavy right now but around the mid 13# range. I might dabble in Open Light next year and want to stay suppressed so I’m looking at ideas but won’t be going that short. Maybe 20”.

Good catch. I certainly found this to be true. Early on, I tried to wipe lube off cases by hand. Of course, this got tedious fast, and I ended up with cases with a bit of lube left on them. Early pressure signs ensued.

I now use a separate tumbler with old/used corncob media to clean lube from resized/unprimed cases. While I have to check each case to ensure the flash holes are clear, there is an added benefit of having some film from the media applied to inside of case neck --> easier, more consistent pressure in bullet seating --> more consistent ES/SD.

I shot the match and it was humbling. Some targets were impossible to find and the wind on day 2 was kicking my ass for some reason. The RO’s did a good job on each stage. I would have been ok if the match was 20 stages versus 24.
