Time for Mays Topstrap Longrange (midrange) Rimfire Challenge here in Eastern Ohio. Weather looks pretty good with no rain and warm temperatures. This should be a pretty neat match, it'll have everyone thinking What The Heck Happened? (WTHH Match)
It'll be on May 9th (fri), 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sunday). I should be ready around 8AM and can accommodate 2 shooters at the same time. It takes about an hour at the most to shoot the match, usually more like 35 to 45 minutes. 85 targets with 5 sighters and 4 bonus shots plus any needed to check your zero. Targets are from 25 yards out to 197 yards consisting of 15 racks. Eye/ear protection is encouraged, all gun actions remain open with chamber flag and no magazine in place.
A competitor can come any time any of the three days, they may re-enter but will have to get back in line. There is a covered firing line with some seating to watch or spread lies about their shooting abilities with others. Help with spotting/scoring is greatly appreciated and speeds things up a lot. I paint the targets every two shooters so they can see their hits as they progress.
