The phosphate BCG pictured doesn't have OKS installed. Not that they do not come with them, but I find it odd they are using a regular image for a supposed upsepc BCG.

I have a 30" Bartlein 1-9 barrel. With the 245 Berger EOL (same loads as the 245 LRHT) I'm loading 81.0 H1000, Lapua case, CCI 34 primers and getting velocities around 2930 seated .070 off the lands with excellent accuracy and consistency.

I have a feeling you need more powder (gas) to make it effective. I would assume a lot of gas energy from a 308 vs WM has been neutralized in the baffle stack by the time it hits the brake part. An 18" creedmoor should have a lot of gas expansion left over to make use of the brake ports. At least, that's my theory.

A lot of them have been saying they plan to take back the parts if the country "the US stole from them." For a long time. If you look close though. They haven't been taking it back with MGs.

Unless you have a compelling operational need for steel rings and bases, BO 306-06A (for 20 MOA alloy base) and 306-63 Alloy 34mm Medium rings are readily available, and are plenty strong and 50% lighter. What caliber rifle are you planning on using them for??

I must say the Garmin Xero has been a God send for 22lr.

It's nice not being driven crazy buy unexpected results, seeing high/low fliers on target and knowing it was the ammo not me takes away a lot of frustration.

Although chronying everything has made me realize just how bad some ammo is and just how much variability there can be between batches.

The ES of the ammo suggests a 7" tall group at 211m so 8-9" isn't bad with that in mind.

I've spent a lot of time recently testing different ammo/batches at distance and basically decided long range results are 100% ammo ES based.
Have seen it enough times now, groups much taller than they are wide, and more or less the exact height the ES calculates in Strelok.

Hoping to get hold of some R50 soon and will see how that goes.
Will zero and shoot groups at 30m and if the ES is good go straight out to 200m+.

We choose to whom and what we serve, and THAT is liberty. If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice. Pretend you aren't a slave all you want, but even if you simply follow your desires and deny yourself nothing in the name of freedum you are a slave to these urges and wants. Groups from a Mega MML/ARP barreled 6.5 Grendel. I put chrono data on these. Odd that the velocity from the suppressed groups was lower than unsuppressed. Different than I had expected or seen before.

Interesting, I did message Igor asking for that change, appears it did happen.

However install the update appears to be an issue.

I had a talk with 3 different employees at a couple of local gun stores about the P320 boondoggle. All of them told me the issue was only with pre-recall 320 guns...so mine is GTG. Problem is, many of the reported self booming 320 pistols are of recent manufacture. Any how, one of the gun counter guys at a LGS told me he really likes his Smith M&P 2.0 10mm. I fiddled around with one, and frankly, I really like the ergonomics. I wasn't impressed with the trigger, but Apex makes a good after market trigger kit. I also checked out the FN 510 and the ported Performance Center Smith 10mm. I bought the non-ported Smith with the 4" barrel, and the Sig 320 is headed to Gun Broker. Thank you for the discussion.
