Rifle Scopes Vortex RG3 6-36x56, Element Theos 6-36x56 and Zeiss LRP S3 6-36x56 Review

To your point, unboxing videos are very retarded, and or maybe fun for little kids...
There are many "little kids" on this forum... For me, the box goes into storage immediately after opening, companies that look like they spend $100 on some fancy box feels like a waste as I don't proudly display my boxes all over my house... Curse Apple for ever introducing fancy boxes! Unboxing videos might be of interest to understand all the accessories but outside of that they don't have much weight.

ARC Lightweight Coup de Grace Scope Mounts

I am assembling a lightweight 7mm-08 rifle for hunting and target shooting out to 300 yards. The lightweight version of the CDG action appealed to me saving 6-1/2 ounces in weight. Also, I don’t need a 15-MOA rail, let alone 20-MOA like the normal CDG. However, I was a little concerned about the odd placement of the rear half of the split, integral Picatinny rail. It’s farther forward than where I would’ve placed it but I am not a firearms designer.

I thought it would be useful to show the receiver up against 2 different rifles and scopes to see how it works:

Winchester Model 70 Safari Express long/magnum action (375 H&H) with Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10x scope

Winchester Model 70 short action (308) with Steiner Predator 2.5-10x scope

My CDG is short action length (sez Captain Obvious). I tried to line up the triggers. Both Model 70s have 13-3/4” length of pull. Both scopes have slightly longer eye relief than typical (3.74” and 3.5” respectively). Neither is a “compact” scope. My Ruger No. 1s have taught me that older scope designs have some advantages with more overall length.

I did this check on the scope mounts just before installing the barrel in the action. Seemed like a good idea to make sure it was good to go before taking that step! Here’s my 20” Osprey carbon fiber barrel chambered by PVA in the Coup de Grace at last. Headspace checked out fine.

Now I just have to be patient waiting for Manners to send me the Elite Hunter stock I ordered. With Greyboe Hunter bottom metal and an TriggerTech Special, I expect total weight to be about 6 pounds 10 ounces before scope & rings are added.

What defines an MPVO?

It reads like you would give a couple of thumbs up to the March F 3-24-52 with the TR1H reticle ( specifically that reticle ).
I actually did a review of that scope and that reticle a couple years back, you can click on the history link in my signature to see the list. As was mentioned above, the 3-24x52 makes a really good 3-20 and an excellent 3-18 scope, but IQ falloff above 20x is noticeable; however, this is an older design and I would love to see March make a High Master version of this scope. The TR1H was a reticle I recommended specifically for low magnification use and I love that reticle; however, the narrow FOV of the scope is a another limiting factor, outside of that it is a fine choice especially for the weight.

Someone murdered Charlie Kirk

JFK left such an indelible scar on my young mind --that not since have I trusted government.

In a way.. that was the best outcome because FF to 2019... I drew the line immediately and committed to myself that would literally die if I needed to thwart the powers that came for us with that fucking BIOWEAPON

nor have I ever taken any vaccine, except the few forced in early childhood.
What gets to me with Kennedy's murder is watching the video. I was about 14 and had a .22 rifle but not deep into guns like now. As soon as I saw his head go up and back it was so fucking clear he wasnt shot from behind. Yet most of the sheeple bought it.

WTF

Adios Pedro... Seems like life imitates art!

Finally, the Lawfare plays out and fails and we can get rid of this POS.

Why the fuck didn't we arrange for him to die in a prison shower shanking? Could have given some good 'ol boy Armed Robber a break and lost his 'packet'... and set him free right after Abrego got stabbed 48 times in the shower.

Just 'sayin.

If we can't arrange a prison hit in a federal prison, what good are we?

Deport the corpse. Preferably after it's had 2 or three weeks in a box in the Texas sun.

Rifle Scopes Meopta 2025. Big things comeing

Well, a month after paying $80 to send in my Meostar 15x56's for a collimation issue, I finally get a $516 quote for repair and return shipping, bank transfer only. This makes the total repair $600! I have no idea how the binos failed, as I have not dropped them and they had no sign of damage except double vision. I would highly suggest using another optic brand.

They fixed mine for free no problem. That’s fucking nuts.

Hunting & Fishing Pls suggest Chest rig / bino harness

Which model specifically? I saw they had a standalone bino pouch with molle attachment. I was thinking of getting that and putting it on a larger molle chest rig.

The little molle wings on the Eberlestock and similar sized units just aren't quite enough. I want to carry:

Sig 6k binos
2x 10 round AICS mags
Two or three mouth calls
S23 phone
Foxpro TX1000 remote
Small tools and batteries
Gloves, Mechanix and rubber
Kestrel
Compass
Personally I'd find somewhere else to stick the mags. Maybe on pack waist belt. Everything else shouldn't be hard to fit in something like the Ravus.
