Not that hard to put a notice on a website telling that somebody is going on vacation. Not that hard to set up an automatic reply to emails that somebody is going on vacation. It's called communication. I have absolutely no problem with Paul running his business as he see's fit, I also have absolutely no problem with potential customers walking away because of a lack of said communication.

You might as well use the whole forum. It’s free. And there are many of use who by a courts standards ( which isn’t much of a standard) could easily be seen as SME. All with varying degrees of knowledge, experience and so forth.

If someone’s wrong, the forum has a way of course correcting that info. If you have a question, you might as well just ask here.

Calypso - Quantum - kestrel - HUD Bluetooth Hokey Pokey

I recently switched to pairing a Calypso Mini AB to Quantum as a means to more accurately predict and manage wind calls for ELR and PRS type matches.

It seems like a Bluetooth nightmare to:

1. Pair the calypso to quantum to get your wind and update your range card (sector)

2. Disconnect the calypso and pair the kestrel 5700 to export the range card

3. Disconnect your phone, then pair with the HUD to update the range card on the gun.

4. Do it all over again for the next stage.


Is there a better way to do this? Seems like the ability to go straight from Quantum to the HUD would be ideal or at least the ability to connect to multiple devices at the same time like you can in GeoBallistics.

New to PRS – RPR vs. Tikka T3X – Looking for Experienced Insight

Tikka is awesome but I piled a bunch of money into mine and then ended up jumping over to 700 pattern actions for the multitude of option on the used market to make it easier and cheaper to try different chassis, barrels etc. the used market for actions like the origin are much better than Tikka.

The tikka was amazing, I think I actually liked it better than my origins I swapped to but just so much cheaper and easier to try different stuff and sell if I don’t like on the 700 pattern.
