Yeah, it was a kind of a custom build, it was bedded to the AI chassis and the recoil lug corners were rounded, so the
Strasser did not fit in to the chassis.

The a5 with metal catch works well for the price if you are buffer tubed.

Despite AINA saying my hinge wasn't covered (apparently the AI hinges don't fall under the 'legendary reliability and durability' of AI) I was able to order one and get the rifle back in one piece.

Southwest New Mexico could use some rain. Its WAY dry for a long time. A couple big fires just north of Silver City. The monsoons are still a month or so away.

Youre right, Red. Hit report. But though he's selling a product, he's not off track. I was just watching this video, wasnt going to post it but maybe I should. It seems to present a pretty balanced view. I do think they've gone anal with the research. At worst is far less dangerous than alcohol, just legalize it, put out the info, and let people figure it out, no fucking nanny state. When you just leave people alone its amazing what they can do.

Thanks. Well, that's a cluster. I can tell you that the guy today was really annoyed at what I was told by the guy before him. I didn't misunderstand the first guy. I was forewarned with the info Maury posted before I called, and he completely dismissed all of it. Then the guy today confirmed it was all correct. In the end, they're going to make it right, and that's what counts. I appreciate that. I think I just got a guy the first time who wasn't qualified to answer the question, but wouldn't admit it, so he made something up. The guy today knew exactly what I was talking about, and jumped right on it. I'm definitely not here to bash Bullet Central. It was a mistake made by a single employee who was not familiar with the situation, and apparently unwilling to educate himself about it. The guy today was everything you could ask for in good CS, and knew his stuff. It's all good.
