Is Russia done pretending?

Another term that seems to be eluding comprehension just like strategic.

Please elaborate on exactly what this term means in a non-question form including how it pertains to conscription/draft practices.

You don't set the rules for people's responses in a place where my questions receive non-answer mentions of gay sex, which illicit overwhelming little thumbs up emojis and positive replies. You're free to google "selective service" however if you're genuinely uneducated and curious, and I applaud you for seeking to better yourself through the expansion of your knowledge on US government. Learning is fun! :)

This will make a couple people mad

Took 7 hundred years last time but they kicked the Muz out.

The one (gun) that got away

I let one get away, but no regrets. When I was a senior in college (1973) a friend of mine inherited a gun collection from his father. He asked me if I wanted to buy a NIB Browning Hi-Power 9mm that he had for sale for $95.00. At that time a new T-Series was around $125.00 (if I recall correctly). I told him I would like to take a look at it. Low and behold, he produce a NIB Hi-Power Renaissance with the round hammer and pearl grip panels. The engraving was spectacular. Of course, I did the right thing and told him what he had and suggested he get it appraised.

Maggie’s Credentialed but Illiterate

I believe a huge part of the problem is cultural. How many times a day does an average American, regardless of anything, read a headline and maybe 2-3 sentences following on and moves on to the next thing? Smart phones, tablets, and how we get information, process info… We’re all guilty of it.

We've been getting "reprogrammed" for a while now, with TV and phone apps designed to hijack our dopamine receptors to give us quick hits, to compete for our screen time.

I was thinking about this not too long ago, how it's changed all of us, myself included - and I hate it.

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

I'm in Nogal, just outside Ruidoso.
Familiar with the area and used to hunt on the Pfingsten ranch years ago. Live in Anthony and have a place in the Upper Canyon which unfortunately was extensively damaged in the floods this year. Hobby shop and fabricate sliders for 4Runners for friends and others who see mine and want a pair. Really nice work in your post.

Google search; "how to lead a literate populace"

Did you mean: how to lead a literate population

AI Overview

Leading a literate and critically-thinking populace requires a transparent, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to governance and communication. Unlike a population that can be managed through simple, top-down directives, a literate citizenry demands reasoned arguments, is skeptical of easy answers, and expects to be an active participant in decision-making.

Funny, the AI gets it.

Firearms LVAW MCX Canebrake

This add reeks.

- New user with zero feedback ("KAC123"? How creative..)
- Atrocious literacy
- The firearm is clearly pictured/represented as an SBR without mention of it in the ad
- User is (allegedly) a Florida man....need I say more?

Potential buyers - do your due diligence. This has red flags all over.
Go look me up on tacswap my guy bam762 my reviews speak for they self I can also FaceTime anyone to show them I have the gun in my possession with a timestamp also gun is not registered as a SBR just have it like that to show was included in

A "Publi walk" now?

Some days you just want to show your support for the second amendment, I open carry those days.

Some days it's just a FU liberals day, I open carry then.

Some places you go to look at you funny if not open carrying, like you were a libtard from the big city or some kind of deviant, criminal maybe.

The welcoming feeling when you walk into a small town cafe and a batch of the adults are armed openly and half the rest are concealed let's me know I am exactly where I belong.

God Bless the USA

A "Publi walk" now?

Open carry is legal here in NC. However, we also have a dumbass statute known as Going Armed to the Terror of the People. And with all the foreigners that have moved in here, open carry is essentially useless these days for that reason. About the only time I'll open carry is when in the woods. Everywhere else, it's concealed.
