Quickie Range Trip..

Okay Boys and Girls I took the new RD15 out for a quickie Range Session between Honey-Do tasks.

The barrel shoots exactly the same as my others Geissele Cut Barrels, very accurate. The Mirage today was just a FPITA!! But still turned in some solid groups.

The Geissele Barrel in the RD15 loves the same handloads as well. I didn't have any 24.3gr TAC, 77gr SMK
Handloads leftover but I did have 5rds of 23.8grs and it easily printed Sub Half MOA.

These are literally the first 20rds down the barrel.

I'll hit the range this week early in the morning and give it a solid break-in. I'm 110% confident if I shoot those four loads again with no mirage none will be over 1/2 MOA.

This only happened because you guys let them out of the kitchen and gave them access to the bank accounts.

Chinese are groomed from an early age to be what they are going to be. So yes, I am agreeing with you, while they may be sent to Harvard to be a doctor, they knew from age 5 they were being groomed to be a doctor and their allegiance is paid for by the CCP, with family as the unwilling ransom, just in case they go rogue in the good old USA.

21 shot group with AAC SMK 77gr. Didn’t blow my gun up and that was the first group from the barrel. I’m betting it would be better with some better match ammo. ES was crazy. Barrel is a BA Spr 18”

I have an older bergara and when you close the bolt slow you can watch the firing pin go down then back up a little as the bolt handle body / ramp sets the cocking piece on the sear ( there is clearance ) while the bolt lugs engage the lug recesses and pull it forward , it feels like it is partially cocking the firing pin to many people
