MK 12 Picture & Discussion Thread

Bootleg Adjustable Carrier has been my go-to BCG since about 2017 when I used them on 2x 12” Grendels suppressed with TBAC cans. I didn’t know it at the time, just what I decided to try.

I’ve been pleased with the performance and ease of gas adjustment.

I put it in my 17.6 Lilja Grendel as well. Helps me switch back and forth between 100gr and 123gr ammo in certain conditions.

My 12” Grendel has only had that BCG in it the whole time, since 2017.

Iran go boom

been said elsewhere that there is at least 1 potential downside for all this. ie everyone in ME will consider getting nuc capability, esp since Israel is known to have them. that seems quite likely. Saudi can sure afford it and i doubt the US would actively stop it. Egypt would prob like to but they are broke. the oildoms could afford it but would they go there? the 4 countries we regime changed aren't capable. Jordan,Morocco,Algeria,Lebanon? Hamas,ISIS,Taliban,Hezbollah? something to think about.
Whoever is saying such things might have a double digit IQ at-best, after having just watched the smack-down on Iran.

The real lesson is how do they pay Tribute to the US and bow the knee quickly, as to not get on the bad side of Trump.

Americans don’t see the world as it is, a very primitive and brutal place that only operates on dog-eat-dog rules.

We think our luxury of discussing things altruistically, ethically, and morally are something that other people share in the fecal cesspools of underdeveloped savages and their regional overlords.

But it is simply not so.

The somewhat serious threats the US has at the top of its list just got a lot smaller.

Back in 1991, Iraq was one of the largest armies and air forces in the world with better combat capability than most current nations, including most Europeans.

When the US demonstrated what Mike Tyson looks like when you let him out of a cage, ending Iraq’s combat power in a matter of weeks, it sent shockwaves through the self-absorbed dictators in Beijing, Moscow, and Tehran.

Tehran just got all but scratched off that list.

The newer Mike Tyson doesn’t ever miss when he swings, comes in at night when your’e asleep in bed, and splashes your brains out all over the wall like a sport.

So Beijing and Moscow will scramble to go asymmetric in a world where the US and allies just spent the last 24 years sniffing through every terrorist cell’s communications, and tracked them back to their points of origin on a regular basis.

I wouldn’t be surprised if North Korea doesn’t come over from the dark side, recognizing weakness among his former backers.

Chaplins in Schools: An interesting concept... might have some merit!

I think it's a great idea. I will use the Chaplins in the army as my basis for this discussion. If you were ever in the military, you likely came across a chaplain in your career who had a profound effect on you, regardless of your own beliefs. I don't think it violates church and state as long as they have no authority and hold no position in the administration. They are invaluable in times of crisis. There are so many kids out there that are confused as they go through life, and their families are trash. Who do you want giving your kid crisis counseling when they need it, a person with a religious take on life's events, or some fat Rosie O'Donnell looking moron with a degree in gender studies telling your kid how to join the pre transition tramny groups online to find somewhere they fit in? If you think I'm mischaracterizing school guidance counselors, I'm not. That doesn't describe all of them, but it accurately describes the essence of the position. I pay every month for my daughter to go to a Christian private school. The kids that come out of this school are infinitely better prepared for life than public school kids. Regardless of how you feel about Christianity personally, you will not make the argument to me with a straight face that the people who embrace the Christian lifestyle aren't generally happier and live better lives than those who don't. They have better social circles and a better outlook on life. They are modest, polite, and generally ambitious. It's a solid foundation for children. If you disagree, you're just wrong. I don't care, you're wrong. And, if you think this is all just a coincidence, you're insane. I don't believe every word of the Bible, and I don't believe that Christianity has it all right, but it is by far the best way to raise your children and live your life. God is real, and while we may not exactly understand it all, there's a 0% chance that everything just kinda happens. I've had literally hundreds of events in my life that have left me with no doubt. If you don't believe that prayer works, you're just wrong. God has given me almost everything I've ever asked for. Some things I wish I hadn't asked for, and there is wisdom to be gained from that. Some things took 20 or 30 years to happen, and they happened exactly when they should have.

🚨 NFA language BACK IN!!! (Post #121) HPA/Short Act Update 7/1 ☎️ these 💩 and yell at them more

I want to believe there is more to the story.
They said he made threats, but the guy was a pretty obese, barely-mobile elderly man with a handicapped son he had been taking care of throughout the kid’s life. He used a walker to get around.

At worst, he was a blowhard online about Biden.

It didn’t warrant an early morning raid with FBI SWAT and Bearcats though.

Our local Sheriff had just been in an unrelated meeting with the FBI the day prior and they said nothing about it to him, which really was not cool.

Jack boot fags wanting to play Army against non-threat US civilians.

They investigated themselves and said they had to get it on, no wrongdoing, etc.

Chaplins in Schools: An interesting concept... might have some merit!

Remove ALL school psychologists / 'counselors' from public schools because they almost always support 'affirmation' of 'Trans' for kids, and other anti-logic views. Federal law should outright ban any school staff, volunteers, etc, from ever even speaking on any aspect of the topic of LGBTq.

Any school counselors should be limited to speaking about academic related topics and not mental illnesses. Students can always speak to the school nurse if they're having health issues that need triaged.

Do schools even have 'nurses' any more? I thought that went out in the '70's?

Chaplins in Schools: An interesting concept... might have some merit!

First in.

I investigated every religion, and denomination of Christianity.

I accepted Christ 55 years ago. I continue to find that religion, all of them, are poison and exist to manipulate the weak, frightened, and confused.

My determination is that we're told to honor God, who is Love, as supreme, and to treat our neighbors as we wish to be treated. Why? because every actionhas an equal and opposite reaction, and you reap what you sow. Whatever you put out multipleis and returns.Thats pretty simple and direct, doesnt need any bullshit dogmas attached.

I'd be in favor of a 'councilor' for kids, but keep religion out of it.

Even when the 'counselors' they have today have drank deep from the religion of Communism? Or are there to be trans activists? Or groomers? Or worse?

The 'counselors' these days don't seem to be working out. Then again, I'm probably generalizing. But most 'counselors' today are products of a far left university system that is telling them they are there to 'counsel' kids to be part of the FSA and to follow the Gaia Hypothesis like it's their real religion.

But agree on the point that they should not be there to push a religion... anyone there to be a listener and should engage in a conversation based on the principles of being a good person... they should be proselytizing. But whatever you think of them, religious folks do tend to have those skills. If you can keep them from trying to convert souls to their particular brand. Which is probably Unconstitutional anyway.

Anyway, we'll put you in the "No" column! ;-)

Cheers,

Sirhr

Long gong

Hey there sir !
Need to start checking this forum more often. Usually just “shopping” through the classifieds lol
I typically hold the Long Gong match after the monthly NRL22 PRO COFs
We have two sets of targets going at the same time…two separate spotters and two separate score keepers.
We have anywhere from 5-15 typically stick around for the LG matches.
Yes sir….300,yds….8”, 6” and 4”.
I will put up wind flags at 150 and 300. I use Atlas targets as the steel has a very nice loud ring to it.
Good info. 👍🏻👍🏻

6.5 Grendel

All 3 of my Grendel’s are semi. I’ve actually got quite a bit of TAC and N140 (like 20+ pounds of each). Just loaded up 150 new Starline cases with 123 Scenars over 27.8 grains of TAC to get fireformed brass and break in 3 new barrels. I absolutely love N140 and use it for my match grade 77 grain SMK and 168 and 169 SMK. It averages about 0.8MOA in my 556, and sometimes under 0.75MOA in my 308. I use cases from the same lot, but no super complicated prep.
Maybe I’ll just stick with those 2. I primarily use TAC for my “bulk” 77 grain 556, 125 grain 308 for my SBR SCAR17, and “bulk” 147-150 grain SCAR rounds.
I’ll do some ladders with both once I’ve got 100-150 rounds on each barrel. I’m looking to stick with 123 grain Scenars as the Precision Firearms loads shot well and the 110 LeHigh match solids were a little more finicky. I’ll give both another few tries.
Tac is great in the grendel. I've always been curious on how n133, n135, and n140 perform in grendel but ive never known anyone to have those powders and have a grendel so they can try. It would be great appreciated if you got to test that out at some point. I myself have some Benchmark I will try but I'm always away for work. There's no telling when I'll get to it.
