not gonna argue about VN. we disagree. your statement about Cuba is interesting. i have sometimes wondered what the outcome would have been if Kennedy had gone all in then. we could have taken out Castro for sure. this was maybe a year or so before Russian involvement was in the open. they might have not gotten openly involved as they were still trying to stay under the radar. ie at least as far as the Cubans i have known said. Russians couldn't have reinforced Castro at that time i believe. also don't think they would have played nuc roulette then. we could have put somebody friendly in. would have had to deal with all the Batista and Mafia corruption. we'd prob have fucked that up as usual. we could have gotten into a guerilla fight. been more like Philippine war than VN. it would have been winnable.
this MIGHT have saved the missile crisis scare. MIGHT have saved some bad commie driven stuff in El Salvador,Chile,Nicaragua. AND saved us some shit at Mariel AND Miami. hard to say,but LA would have had a different path. CIA might not have killed Kennedy?

Hmmm, 2 times ball pass frequency, inner race defect on the inboard bearing. Oh and also high resonance frequency at running speed, soft foot on left rear mount. I give it 200 hours before it has to be removed from service.

I originally designed this DBM back in 2009 with a greater focus on centerfire applications. Based on the core group of end users I was building rifles for; I developed the Preload Piston to capture the back of Accuracy International AICS Magazines between two points. This eliminated rattle and provided a more tactile feel when inserting the magazine. The Preload Piston didn't work on the original Nylon VGW magazines, but it will work nicely on the new magazines I'm working on.

When the Rimfire thing started happening, the DBM was changed very little until I moved away from the Oberndorf style (inside the trigger guard) magazine release. This was during the influx of confusion (based on variation) about the proper length for the magazine release.

After introducing the TacMag Release, I received questions about why it was so thick. I didn't answer then, but I'm providing the answer now. I had this idea about how to do an adjustable release in a DBM, as they've become somewhat popular in a few chassis systems in an effort to make up for a broad amount of variation from one chassis and DBM to the next. However, I do like the idea of adjustability to fine tune feeding such a finicky round (of course, that being the 22LR).

I'll get these in production along with the Lot Testing Fixture.

Mine fluctuates. When the weather is shit and my migraines are strong it usually ramps up the eeeeeee. Other times I’m just sitting in the living room and one of my ears cranks it up and I get a pain in the side of my head. Fukn weird stuff the body does.

Most of N. America was under glaciers at one time... of course they mostly disappeared long before humans and "climate change"

I have ranged to 3300 yards with the Fury 5000 so more than far enough for any matches which usually max around 1200 yards or so. Some can go a little farther but never far enough to be an issue with the LRF.
