I’m cross eye dominant also and never slowed me down using my right eye for matches. It helps when shooting weakside but you don’t need to use your dominant eye to shoot.

I do most of my early load work off a bipod, from the bench. Later stuff still from a bipod, but from the ground.

Ive had and used various front rests over the years, from an old orange Hoppes to a SEB Neo. The right front bag fit to your stock makes a huge difference. Then the rear bag size/shape matters as well .

If the fit is right, it makes shooting groups so much easier. If it's bad... you're far better off using bean bags or bipod.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the constant complaints when it comes shooting in a tight corner, forcing them to shoot weak side or an awkward position. IMO, isn’t matches suppose to be challenging and competitive?

Have you tried to use the left hand on the trigger? It’s much easier than bending your right hand back to the trigger. At least for me. Takes a little getting used to but becomes much easier with use.

And yup they are. I switch to left when in a tight corner or a place where right is too much work and it’s so much better. They are doing a disservice not pushing people like Jacob does.

I have a couple of sightron's and am very pleased with them, though not perfect.
I looked hard at the 5-30, but after reading a review by @BigJimFish, where he reported poor glass quality (I understand it was an example of one) gave me pause, then I looked at the specs, only 23.5 mils of adjustment, turning it into a short range scope, I decided to pass.
A shame, I've talked to the folks in Florida a couple of times, seem like good folks, but they can't seem to put all their shit in one sock. They are always just missing the boat on the tactical scopes.
I have one of the very first S5 4.5-28 scopes that came in to the country (number 12 of the first batch). The glass is great, but the locking knobs are extremely difficult to lift. It does not have a zero stop, but I knew that going in. That being said, it is one of my favorite scopes, very easy to get behind. I had high hopes for the 5-30, but they scared me off.

The second problem is you don't know which ones are fucking unsafe because Sig blames everyone and everything else for the problem. Sig has shitty customer service and engineering.
