The Razor G3 you mentioned will be a definite step up, although not earth shattering. Same for the ATACR. What you're getting more of in those two is really mechanical (tactile turrets etc...) more than glass...but the glass IS better.

The S3 that you mentioned will have better contrast, but not clarity/resolution IME. However, the reticle will stand out more for sure, and that will make a difference if trying to shoot stuff other than paper targets.

My NX8 is basically a wash in glass with my Pro. I'd run the NX8 only if weight were a factor.

Those are the four that I have in addition to the XTR Pro.

Its all about the soil. I can see from your photos yours is lousy and the way youre going about it youre just wasting time and money.

Forget the Scott's. First fertilize what youre got. Get some good river bottom topsoil (not the clay mixed with compost crap some sell). Spread at least 2" over the whole yard. Seed it with the seed recommended by your Ag. office. Roll it lightly and water. Keep it watered every couple days until its established. Fertilize every 90 days or so.

You'll have grass coming out your ass.

Per the title, I’ll be just NNW of Cincinnati while my grandson attends a hockey training camp this weekend and next week. Looking to bring along a rifle or two and maybe get in some much needed range time.

It can be but doesn’t need to be longer than 300y, but available distances will help me decide what I’ll bring.

And yes, I’ve done a brief search, but much prefer someplace where I can be comfortable and even meet up with someone while I’m there.

Any suggestions?

Reminders like this are great, but Christians throughout history were required to fight for their survival. If they hadn't, there wouldn't be any left today. Agreed. For the M5x, there's a stock and receiver revision required, but I haven't posted the picture of my standard M5 DBM that doesn't have the limiting piston and drops right into any M5 inletted stock and no revision to the receiver.

So, one can make a choice between full featured and standard versions, but the point in all this is, getting back to dimensional purity is key to quelling the feeding/cycling frustrations.
