300 Blk falls off a cliff past 200, even using the new hot ammo and a 12.5" bbl. If you have a single point of reference, it's gonna be rough.

Depending on your eyes, your dot choice, your settings and time frames - a 2 MOA dot can do God's work out to 200 if you can...

But, magnifier will help you see better.

Dont know what your timeline is but we have a pretty good shot at Leupold having some SFP Mk5HD 2-10x by first quarter. Super nice scope for certain applications.

Looking for a shorter option with similar killing power to the 280 Ackley. The overall length with a suppressor is the only negative to my current setup. My current .280 Ackley is about 53" with the suppressor attached.

When I am in short range situations (150 yards and under), I actually hunt with a .308 Win bolt action pistol with a 12 inch barrel and a suppressor, or a 16" lever action in .45-70. Just looking for similar overall length, but enough ass to reach out further.

I have a 30 cal and 6mm ACE brake i can try running the 30 on my 6 dasher. I would assume the difference would be similar between the two even with different manufacturers. Thats being said I run the 30 cal on a 6.5cm and my 30 cal stuff, and it seems to work great

What is the perceived/experienced issue with CA? The one I have owned, and a couple more I have shot, have been accurate, with no real issues. I did know of one that got sent back for stick extraction, but that was resolved quickly and with minimal hassle.

Regarding 7mm BC, there are a number of folks who have confirmed or exceeded stated ballistics.

That said, I could care less what the headstamp reads. Is there another cartridge that can do 195's at 2850 from a 20" barrel? The only thing I ever disliked about a 7mm Rem Mag was the long barrel. Same with 270 Weatherby, and 300 WM. Had all of these, and sold all, because the long barrels were a monumental pain in small trucks, UTV's, box blinds, and ladder stands.

I haven't bought anything yet, and absolutely could change my mind. Also willing to admit that I might be chasing unicorns.

Ok, you can’t tell, but it’s an AXMC 300NM with a TBAC 338 Ultra Gen 1. The big square is the backstop at 100yds. The 10” round steel targets are handgun targets. She decided to hangout between the 50 and 75yd targets while I was trying to shoot a pressure test on a handload (I didn’t bother to put up an actual paper target because I was only looking at pressures and MV).

I have a schmedium with sand fill and a OG with bead fill. I definitely switch between them for different shooting spots. I really use them both pretty equally. I got the sand first, and picked up the OG bead fill off here in the PX. I thought id hate the beads since I liked the sand so much. Not the case, like them both

One more for you CDG owners, specifically anyone with the lightweight version. Why is the rear pic rail in such a unique (forward) location? Most split rail actions that I have seen have it located further back, aft of the ejection port. I have to imagine that was a very purposeful design decision for ARC but I haven't read comment about it anywhere.
