When do you say, well that is as good as it is going to shoot.

To your point about flinching, my 03a3 is the only rifle I shoot with a shoulder pad. I’ve got 300 win mags and other manner of big guns. Some with recoil pads some not. Anyway, I couldn’t shoot my 03 worth a crap because that steel butt plate beat the hell out of me and it wasn’t fun. $30 investment changed the accuracy of the gun. It was the archer in this case for me. So, 03s are accurate and if you remove the bullet from the equation then it could easily be you.

No, be aware of what’s coming down the line when they get back in power. We have to remember that he’s even having to fight his own party. It’s a temporary disruption unless we have fundamental changes across the country.
They were already doing it during their past two administrations. Trump is just following their playbook. If he wasn't doing it now, it's not like they WOULDN'T do it again when they come back.

Advice about Atlas BT72

Hello @shoot4fun , your preference about AccuTac and his adjustability are about the cant and pan?

If yes, I don't need the pan adjust, and so the plenty adjustability of the FC4 compared to the CAL are always superior?
I don't use the pan but cant is, as you know, most important. Some benches I shoot matches from are on the small side and the pan feature can make a difference in being comfortable behind the rifle or not.
Both of mine are FC4, as that is what I was able to buy at a considerable discount slightly used, but that doesn't mean the FC5 will be a bad choice. The other, and first acquired, is a BR4 I think (maybe the longer legged version) and I found it to be a bit long for bench use. It was always too high at 90˚ and the legs were too close to the front edge of the bench at 45˚. I also prefer the wider stance provided by the FC bipods.

What cars you fools have?

Can the manufacturers bring back the "ball vent" I had in a 69 ford?

Love the ball vent

Yeah, this automated climate controlled crap sucks. In two of my 2021 Toyota's, it's like they have a mind of their own. I just want cool outside air coming into the cab, and it always trying to turn the air conditioning on. And one of them I have to go three deep into the touch screen just to turn the fan down. Who ever thought of that should be shot.

What cars you fools have?

The steal of a deal $1800 desert 🏜 Douchebag white boy special.

2001 Suburban 4x4 with RCD lift ($2500) and 35's already on it. Tires and wheels alone would have cost $2500-3k (Moto Metal 17x9's and BF Goodrich 315/70r17's). Just $$$$ performance rebuilt the 4LSlippy (4L60e). Doing other delayed maintenance things (assorted bushings, axle/wheel bearings, pitman/idler arms etc). And of course nothing is ever complete without some kind of rattle can shit (wheels 😀)

Up next is computer tune for the correct tire size, proper Mishimoto plug/play auxillary transmission cooler (not the $100 poors ebay/amazon 40K with all the jinky gay hose cutting/barb fittings), rear axle bearings and seals, rear transfer case output shaft seal, sway bar bushings, Kryptonite tie rods, new speakers, instrument cluster with transmission temp gauge, fan clutch. I'm probably gonna go up to 4.10 gears all around and Eaton Truetrac rear locker, and down to 33" tires in the future. The current 3.73's and 35's is definitely not ideal for towing plans in the relatively near-ish future.

Front hub bearings were vibrating the whole truck 🤣View attachment 8748290

Had one of those (2500) with ambulance doors for a work vehicle. I loved it. Fuel pumps and power steering pumps were ways failing on them though.

Rifle Scopes Top tier scope recommendation

Strong preference for ZCO out of those two. Check the px. I think there’s a couple available.

Is the 5-40 still suffering from erector trouble or has that passed?
My understanding is it's by and large resolved with the three ovals issue rating it's head still from the early ones but guys not saying anything until now

Got a question, Mike. Is the action you are designing going to be a mid lug bolt or a bolt that uses the handle as the locking lug? Seen both, seen both being accurate rifles made. But I have a favorite. (And own two rifles that use this system of lock-up).

Well, you could be in luck either way; I’m doing at least one of each.
