I’m not defending squat. I even said I don’t even know why they changed materials to begin with in a previous post. I’m not in the industry or even have a clue about materials. All I have to say is your action better be 1000% flawless from the jump. Because once the actual non influencer customers get a hold one it’ll be really scrutinized. I’m going to get one for shits and giggles given that I already have one of each popular action on hand ie own to look over and use. It’s going to be interesting.

That brass looks terrible, gouged from the magazine lips, also appears that one of the lips is damaged?

I polished mine with some scotchbrite made for dishes, helped cut down on the gouges.

Possible that there is too much tension on the case, have you tried it with just 2rds in the magazine?

Dimensionally, the 7-08 and 308 from the base to shoulder is the same, did you send just the magazine back or magazine and bottom metal?

For the 6.5 Creedmoor:

Berger 130 OTM, H4350 powder, Any SRP Brass, CCI 450 Primer or equivalent primer, COAL should maximize your available magazine length, in keeping with your throat dimensions.

Start @ 41.5 grains and work up in 0.3 grain increments till you hit your sweet spot for your rifle. Works good in bolt guns as well.
