On a kitchen remodel, I was on my way out on a Friday. Leaned on the laundry side of a shared wall. Drywall still on the laundry side. Felt it move. Looked back on the kitchen side to see the HVAC guy had cut a foot off the bottom of every stud in the wall and run ductwork across the whole run. Was load bearing as well if I recall. Didn't say a word to me. There was a non destructive way to accomplish the same outcome. I chewed his ass and told my boss he was never allowed on any of our jobs again. It's far more common than it should be. Sorry, not sorry, @DamnedYankee.
