Night Vision Nocpix clip on

I'm hopeful for the Nvision halo c or the iRay Hybrid Compact. Both should perform the same function as the Voodoo MX but at a fraction of the cost
One can certainly hope. If the new hybrid compact is indeed that (a hybrid) i'll be a little disappointed. I really want them to focus on clip ons. There is no shortage on the market of good dedicated thermal optics. Like seriously what once was a 10k product for a quality 640 unit can relatively be had for 3500 now. The same is not remotely true of clip ons. Anything that is of real conceivable use with magnification is north of 10k easy. Everything else seems like it's pushing it beyond 4x.

Night Vision Nocpix clip on

I wonder if we will see 1280 resolution with this one. If so then maybe I'll hold off on buying a TB630LRF
FWIW guide already has a 1280 res clip on. My TB630LRF comes in this week for the price i got it for, not sure there would be a much better option in my budget currently. I just need someone to give me performance reminiscent of the Vodoo M for not 16-20k. Granted my experience with clip ons is very limited. I currently have a hydra and the guide as i said on the way. Nvision needs to release something about the damn halo-c

So I went to Grok to Dissect Gravity Ballistics

@Lowlight not sure if this has been covered before but…

Say for example that I’m in the field and have a rifle for which I lost all dope (happened to me on a hunt, idiot me only put the dope on the scope cap
that I promptly lost on day 1)….rather than go from memory or find a range, can I gather dope at only one range and back-calculate the rest of the dope with gravity ballistics and be close enough to hunt with? What range would that one target need to be at? I assume far enough to test BC.
