22 cal Slug/lead bullet BC's

At least with the air rifles we can get a ES in the 2-3fps. They can be very consistent. With the FX rifles they seemed to have somewhat fixed the POI shift with the Panthera/Dynamic guns along with the DRS. They are much better than what the Impact was but still could be better.
I really like the design of the American Air Arms and also the Epic 2. They have a true tension barrel system and it threads into the receiver. They feel more like a real rifle than most air guns. And the Epic 2 can put out some good power to shoot the slugs at the speeds they want to go. But I would like to see a company really build a air gun like a rimfire. Beefy like that.

Mixing brass lots, same headstamp.

Your condescension of a 74 year old, 100% P&T disabled veteran is also classic. I've never owned a Savage nor am I likely too. I now shoot only factory barrels. That doesn't mean I haven't owned custom rifles or have shot in gun games in the past. I reloaded my first hull in 1973. I've been doing this shit for a long time.

What's the point of you even being on Sniper's Hide anyway?? Telling us constantly how you and your $2K SEB are the only barometer of accurate shooting and us poor rubes should just shut up and bask in the glow your superiority?

I'm done with you Maury. Go chase your rainbows elsewhere.....

7mm PRC

I don't think the 7 PRC can launch a 190 A Tip fast enough to worry about blow ups, even the 166 at around 3200fps. The 190 A tip was definitely my favorite target bullet during testing. I did a 7PRC cartridge guide on tscustomsrifles. I'm not here to sell anything, just sharing the data, and there's a lot to look through.

I run a 26" barrel so it's not too hard to get 2900fps out of the 190-195gr bullets. A 30" barrel comfortably launches 190 A tips at 3k, and with the .420 G7 it really feels like cheating.
Can I ask which powder and load?

Firearms GA Precision Gladius 6.5CM (Defiance Tenacity, Manners T6A build)

GAP Gladius commissioned in 2022 as a 308, but sent back to GA for a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel in 2024.
Action has about 800 rounds on the odometer (550 factory Lapua 308, 250 factory Lapua 6.5CM)
NOTE: the 308 barrel is gone, sold last year.

GAP Gladius rifle with a lot of now discontinued parts options

(pre buy out) Defiance Tenacity Action. Some of the Cerakote has flaked off the bottom of the bolt handle and dings from the ejected brass.

Manners T6A elite stock with LOP spacer system (currently 14.25") in Elite SWAMP. Action is pillar bedded with Hawkins M5 SA bottom metal. Wiebad Cheek pad on the KMW adjustable cheek piece. Front pic rail and left, bottom swivel studs

GAP Gladius #6 Bartlein 18: 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. 5R rifle 1:7.75" twist. 5/8x24" thread with Gen 2 APA Little Bastard 6.5 muzzle brake. Again, no more than 250 rounds max on this barrel of mostly Lapua factory and a few Federal GMM

Cadex DX2 Evo trigger with curved shoe. These are convertible to single or two stage. Currently 2-stage 2lbs and is by far my favorite 2 stage I have used to date.

I am including the following with the rifle:
- 3x 5-round Accuracy International AICS mags
- 2x 10-round Accuracy International AICS mags
- Defiance Action wrench

This thing has been an absolute laser with 136gr Lapua scenars with groups as small as 3/8 MOA. It's done well with 130gr Fed GMM but it REALLY liked the factory Lapua ammo. That said, I'm all out of that ammo and don't reload so someone else can do this thing justice.

Asking $4050 shipped to FFL with all mags and action wrench
I'm not interested in any trades. Discreet Paypal, Zelle, Cashier's/certified check

Have you seen or have any issues with blow ups with the a-tips

i don't take anyone very seriously, but i guess it is important to recognize that pretend magas exist.
we have them here, pretending to be patriots or "fair minded" when it seems obvious they are shills.
They are everywhere. Many of them are delusional real people living Stockholm syndrome. I cannot trust anyone if Chinese descent to be anything but an agent of China, especially if they are upper middle class. No coincidences.

Maybe time to set up OnlyFans.gov as Pay.gov is not cutting it. Maybe add pay per-view body cams , police cruiser uber rides and food delivery ,and add corporate sponsors to goverment fleets 💪

No one should get their panties in a bunch over this. Nobody with the ability to fix this actually wants this fixed.

Walther Hammerli Force B1

Thank you guys, opinions/first hand knowledge is what I was looking for.

One of my distributors has them on a sale for $325 but also a shit ton of em in stock which maybe doesn't raise a red flag but sure pulls it out.

@buffalowinter , my boye didn't go any farther than BB gun and my oldest grandson is about 6 years away from the .22 program.

I have a call in to the county extension agent for more information .

Just thought I'd jump on a deal if it was there.

Maggie’s Powder Valley Warehouse Burned Down

PV is certainly one of the good ones…good, hard working family.

Bought two jugs of Varget a few years ago…UPS crushed the box enough to split a jug a little and a few oz of powder leaked out.

Called PV to let them know—without me asking, they immediately shipped me a new jug and told me to keep the old one.

Glad everyone was ok. I can only imagine how fast and hot a fire moves in a big steel building of reloading supplies.

Area 419 Tactical One-Piece Scope Mount

Are they really 1.5 lbs. as listed on the website? That seems really heavy compared to other mounts.
