Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Yeah, the Hux 9ti is the other one I'm looking at. What I'm looking for foremost with this can is sound suppression and what I'm seeing is that the r9 does a better job. Not worried about weight. The rig this is going on has a 5" barrel and is pretty light anyway.

I'm still on the fence.
And the Omega 9k. Geez, decisions.

One facet of things going south, most never think of

Well, the song "Smell of Death" by Lynrd Skynrd was written about my flatulence.

"Ooh, that smell.
the smell of death surrounds you."

But yeah, that is why we need to have friend with a Cat 420. Actually, when we have talked before here about SHTF scenarios, my mind immediately went to the logistical problems you are talking about.

Great, we are all crack shots and nail the bad guy every time. Drop him where he stands. Something has to be done with that sack of rotting meat.

Someone has to scoop up the remains and dispose of it. Funeral pyres? Mass graves? Where? Do we have enough lime on hand?

What if we have some guys to provide security. How do we tell them apart from jihadis or whatever? Maybe some distinctive clothing? How about a way to mark the vehicles they are in so that we do not target them by mistake? What if they make mistakes? How do we correct and punish that? Maybe some kind of review process? What is that called?

Wild pigs and buzzards will take care of the body problem

Plane crash At Reagan National

Quite possible. Another point that has been made is the they were flying with "NVGs". This I find doubtful because "PAT" army Black Hawks are an elite unit and should be state of the art aircraft. PAT stands for "Priority Air Transport". They are mainly used to transport VIPs and high ranking officers. The crews are select top notch aviators.

Below is an image of one of these helicopters, known as "Gold Tops" (for the paint scheme). You can see a FLIR pod under the chin of the aircraft. That is an incredible and very sophisticated vision system that would negate the use of night vision goggles. The images are displayed on the control panel....

For the sake of argument, I'm going to disagree....

The Pilot Flying was a relatively low time pilot. Not low skill... but low time. It takes years and years, and several thousand hours to hone one's skills. And even then, it's easy to make mistakes.

I have thousands of hours and decades of experience flying. And I think that running a training flight like PAT25 did, where they did, is mind boggingly stupid.

Aviation is so safe because of layers and layers of redundancy. The way DCA airport and airspace was operated reduces the layers of safety and redundancy considerably. I said it before and I'll say it again... PAT25 flying the route it was on while DCA was landing runway 33 is tantamount to telling someone (even an "elite" driver) to drive the wrong way on the freeway but don't hit anything.

They say these folks are siding with Trump, but they are actually just complying. Trust me, the left is woven through education and they are simply surviving right now. Their views are still the same, and they are waiting for the opportunity to spring right back to where they were past where they were

WHY????? Mag feed vs. Hand feed

I've been shooting AR's for 30 years, have built a ton of them. My target AR15 (223) shoots 3/8", 100 yard groups pretty easily and consistently from the magazine.
Built another AR10 308 with top tier products... because I'm pigheaded and won't give up.
Matched AERO upper and lower
Nightforce ATACR 7-35 F1 Mil C
ARC M Brace mount
Midwest industries FF handguard
SLR adjustable gas block, 9 oz. buffer
Triggertech Diamond trigger
Craddock Precision custom Bartlien heavy 18" barrel
Rubber City Armory bolt carrier with JP high pressure bolt headspaced to the barrel.
Handloading using Sierra, Berger 168, 169 and 175 hpbt, Lapua brass, etc. etc.
Probably pounded 5-6 hundred dollars of components into the berm......
All Magazine fed...because that's how it's supposed to shoot.
Every group always looks like the one on the LEFT.....
TODAY out of frustration I had 5 rounds left exactly like the ones in the left target......and for some unknown reason I decided to single feed them. I pushed a round into the chamber and dropped the bolt release for each one.
Single feed is on the right!!!!!! WTF. Seriously. 0.142" 5 shot group.
Why the difference? Is it a result of the violent forces of the BCG slamming back and forth? Sort of depressing since it's a semi auto......
What is happening during the BCG cycling process that's introducing so much inaccuracy?

Finding a wife

I have a died in the wool single friend who has a funny personality. He's mid 70's and has had one serious relationship his whole life but he never married her. She did him wrong........

I get a kick being at his place because his whole everything is manland! Who else has expensive vintage motorcycles, RC stuff, guns of all types, and a knife collection not a few yards from his kitchen and living area.
That doesn't include his bar area, 20'x60' shop, and the 40 acres he lives on which is a shooting range. 1143Y out his front door into the FS and almost 500Y out back - steel everywhere!

He's a riot!

I know a guy who did the complete opposite, after his separation he bought a tiny house in this mountaintop park that turned out to be over 55 so he had to lie about his age lol. He's got this huge fucking truck and a dune buggy and they let him have his dog there too even though it's over the park animal weight limit. He lives in an old people trailer park and has more freedom than when he was married.

PRS Range gear bags for match day

Here’s some pics of my Eberlestock FAC Track I use for centerfire and rimfire matches. Had this for quite a few years and still doing well. Side pouches are just for snacks on one side and water on the other. The newer FAC Track looks a little different but sure it will work as well.

Front and back

Inside front pockets. LRF on top and all the stuff for my wrist band and anything else that comes up.

IMG_0123.jpeg

Top compartment where I keep my ears, chamber flag and some more gear in the plastic bag that I found a need for over the years. Plastic bags for gear are nice for when shooting a match in the rain.

Inside main compartment. Carry my bags, spotter, plate and a Fix It Sticks tool kit in the plastic bag. The green insulated bag on top is where I keep my ammo and mags during the match.
