Idk how tariffs will affect this but PPU 75 gr 223 has historically been some of the most accurate 223 ever out of my guns.

Historically it was always right around 75 cpr.

I guess if they knew every swinging dick was buying and using ammo, maybe they would shut the fuck up.

I was running them in a 223 with long throat mag fed.

I haven’t worn out a 223 barrel yet so not sure. And I don’t keep track of rounds fired but rough guess is my highest round count 223 has around 4000-5000 rounds through it and I just won a match with it last weekend so still shooting great!

All of this stuff is complicated and inter-related. I agree with ToddM - you really have to go back to the 1980's. Corporations realized that they could substantially reduce the cost of producing goods, lower their prices and actually increase profits by moving production overseas. It was a lot cheaper to pay a worker in Mexico or Vietnam $2 an hour to build cars or make sneakers than to pay an American worker $20/hr. And if suddenly Nike could actually lower prices and increase profits by moving production overseas, it wasn't long before its competitors (Reebok, Adidas, etc.) followed.

Ultimately, tariffs aren't going to solve this structural problem. In the short term they're basically a regressive tax that increase the cost of goods to consumers. But in the long term, even if they are successful in bringing back mfg. to the U.S., costs are not going to come down because U.S. wages are still significantly higher than in the third world countries where these goods are currently produced. So any money the mfg. saves on avoiding tariffs ends up being offset by the higher production costs they are faced with by making their products back in the U.S.

And unfortunately corporate greed is basically built into the system. It is human nature that people act in their own self interest. So when you tie the compensation of CEO's and top executives to the stock price and short term profitability of their company you encourage behavior that maximizes corporate profits above everything else. That's how they get bigger bonuses and their stock options become more valuable. And if the consumer or the employee working on the production line gets screwed - the CEO can always console himself by buying a bigger yacht.

That said, just because something is private property doesn't mean that running a community by the 'higher law' of Sharia... is acceptable or legal. The Constitution and USCA are the 'law' not Allah's dictates as interpreted by Mullah's or tribal leaders. And these communities in the US and, especially overseas, have utterly failed to recognize the laws of the countries they are invading. Look at Paris, Berlin, London, Glasgow and the entire UK Midlands, Frankfurt, Dearborn, Hamtramac, Stockholm, Wisconsin and the dozens of smaller communities where the Somali infestation is epidemic.

So your If's are spot on. Unfortunately that is not how it works out in reality.

And I point out the 'Mormon and Davidian' examples that were prosecuted (note I do not say persecuted). Because while, especially, Waco was a travesty in the LE and Govt. response... the communities were NOT abiding by the laws. Child abuse, weapons violations, bigamy (which shouldn't be illegal anyway)... etc. were all happening and being flaunted. And all can be well and good until your 'charismatic leader' decides that the whole place needs to drink Kool-Aid, suicide themselves to catch a Comet or gas a subway system. Or fly planes into buildings... Because the 'charismatic leaders' are frequently nutballs or radicals... followed by nutballs and radicals.

Maybe the 72-Virgins-land will work out great and be paradise on earth. More likely, it will be come Hell on Earth for women, children and sooner or later will become an apocalypse... or contribute to one.

It is. It’s called the elevation turret. No one seems to use it though and they need to strap not crap on the scope.
