Tikka T3X TAC A1

I disagree with your comments about the muzzle brake. He has not said what caliber nor his shooting history. We each also tolerate recoil differently. My son who climbs mountains, works out like crazy, finds the un-Braked recoil of a 6.5 Creedmoor excessive. He does need to time the brake though!
On a lite Tikka CTR in 6.5CM for hunting... maybe. On a Tikka TAC A1 in 6.5CM with scope, mount, bipod, etc., ~ 14 - 15lbs, not so much. But we can agree to disagree.

6gt

Anyone else have a slow barrel? I’m running a 26” CRB 7.5tw and only getting 2840-2850 with 36.5g of H4350 using Alpha Brass with 1 firing and 109’s.

What is the round count?

And 2,850 is kind of in the wheelhouse of the GT. I know these days everyone is chasing velocity, but trading a few tenths for an extra 50 FPS isn't worth it to me. I got an extra 100 FPS over that when I was standing on 105s, but accuracy really came together at 2,900 even.

That's 2,900 with 36.8gr H4350 and a 105 Hybrid... with a 27" barrel. Makes me think you're right where you should be actually.

Add in the fact that there are multiple velocity bullshitters spread across the forums.

Rifle crown condition

I'm not sure it's not me, one of the reason's I'm asking. Shooting handloads mainly, some commercial match. I can shoot sub moa with other rifles, and sometimes with this one. A friend with much more rifle experience than me has shot the RPR with the same results. I can call my shots with a pistol. I see the crosshairs when the gun goes off and the bullet doesn't always go there. I would assume this would work with a rifle at 100 yards, please set me straight if I'm wrong. I got access to a rifle range about a year ago and have been there nearly every weekend for the last year. (The scope is an Athlon Cronos, everything is torqued)
What ammo are you using, just because something says “Match” does mean it can it can hi a barn from inside it. Know any smiths? If not, where are you maybe someone here can find one.

Not gonna buff out

That sucks........been down on the pavement more than once............some day I will tell the story of the heart attack while riding my Harley................

Heal up, get the bike fixed/replaced and get back on the road.............one day you will be too old to play the "dodging traffic" game and it will all be just a memory ..............

I have made it to that point........

Area 419 Tactical One-Piece Scope Mount

I know you said you did, what I’m saying is Craig can come in here and explain in whatever detail he wants to address @mi650

Richard
I don't doubt he does it, just find it unusual and generally unnecessary.

I completely understand, and applaud, not buying screws from Taiwan or China. But I'd have no issue with any company using screws made in the US instead of making their own. It actually makes complete to me, and I do it every chance I get. Hell, when I need wood screws, I don't buy the bulk shit from HD, I buy Spax, made in Germany. (I've never heard of a wood screw made in the US.)

So Cal Ice protest.

When I was a kid, the first night I was in Chicago downtown, a fight broke out in a bar and spilled into the street. I’m just a wide eyed country kid from Maine watching as this fight turns like wildfire into a riot. I’m half in awe and half terrified.

Suddenly Chicago PD rolls in with water cannons and bull horns. You could hear a pin drop. One guy ran his mouth and they cuffed him. That was it. Apparently folks feared those water cannons because that was the end of it…….
Hell ya.
They would use the hell out of the water cannons. They must have fell out of flavor.
Therefore, through our long reach with our vast community here, get the word out to the bigshots...

We need more water cannon
