Ukraine war Bullshit.

I’ve read it. Do you think what’s provided will enable timely implementation of the originally desired capability?

Where is it stated that EVERYTHING being sent was scheduled for de-milling. And even if that was the case it still introduces a fair amount of the capability to the battlefield.
The Army’s acquisition of longer-ranged fires seems to indicate to me more focus on the Pacific theater, due to the tyranny of distance between the islands. US Army can provide LR fires, alongside Patriot PAC-3 MSE missile defense of key installations, which has already demonstrated capability to intercept Kh-47M2 hypersonic missiles. This is the main area the US Army is relevant in FSCO, not with Armor, Infantry, or even aviation. Army Aviation is primarily tasked with attack helicopter support of Armor in the advance, as well as in-theater light and medium lift of soldiers, light vehicles, and howitzers (Sling Load).

iu

The USMC is more relevant in the attack at a strategic level than US Army due to USMC force modernization, and always had far more tactical air capability with fighters. ( I spent 10 years in the Army, so I’m just being dispassionate about what I see from the big picture.)

iu

Not everything sent to Ukraine was old stock scheduled for de-mil, but most of it was, and much of it was already older FMS contract stuff sold to NATO countries decades ago. ATACMS has been scheduled for replacement by PrSM in the US Army already, though it is extremely capable and lethal in lower-level conflicts between poorly-equipped nations like Russia and Ukraine. The ATACMS footage I’ve seen from Ukraine was absolutely horrifying for Infantry riding along in transport trucks. Killed everyone in a multi-vehicle column instantly. That’s our old crap from our least-important service.

Yup, our old, replaced, out-dated systems were game-changers in an outdated battlefield like Ukraine, but were never delivered in consistent numbers to provide decisive overmatch. Biden WH wasn’t going to let that happen after being on Russian payroll since the 1970s, nor were any of the Obama staffers who populated the place, for the same reasons.

Biden and Obama were shocked that the SMO didn’t go down swiftly as promised by Putin, so they were left holding a bag they never anticipated. Euros were the first to step in and start sending old stock, with fresh orders for new FMS from the US to replace those. This was all in addition to Trump’s Javelin and $600 million FMS weapons packages from 2018-2019.

ok, let me amend that to say that the trinity idea was not established at nicea, but it was absolutely enshrined and adopted wholesale there. As for trinity scriptures, there are none. I’ve read the WHOLE Bible through from one leather cover to the other and never seen the word “trinity” “triune” or “co-equal” etc anywhere. I can point out scores of scriptures that refer to God as ONE.
Neither is monotheism. I have never read that in the Bible. Does that mean that Christianity isn’t monotheistic?

Hm…I see no scripture there. Just the writings of men. If we aren’t using the Bible, then what is the basis of discussion?
As I said, they are not canon. What I am illustrating is Trinitarian thought existed in the early church. That is presented to refute your claim that the trinity was created at Nicea. History shows it was not. Additionally there are many scriptures that show Trinitarianism. That was not the point of my post. It was to show you were uninformed about church history. We can go into Trinitarian scriptures if you want

M1 & Bradley?

HIMARS for shaping in the adversary SA?

I agree that at present Russia’s capability in the air domain is limited. But does their A2AD capability make up for that shortfall if facing a peer threat?
As to Russian A2AD, F-35s have been flying over late-model S-300 & S-400 IADS networks as if they own the place, including in Syria, Iran, and other places.

We’ve been acquiring Russian SAMs and Radars since the early 1970s and doing technical and tactical exploitation on them. In fact, we snatched/bought/negotiated the acquisition of an S-300 system from Ukraine in Trump’s first term.

After the Battle of Khasham, Trump understood where Putin stood as some kind of guy who thought he could challenge the US without consequence, and had to learn the hard way.

We have built a large portion of our air forces to conduct SEAD and DEAD missions since Vietnam, when the emergence of Soviet SAMs really accounted for substantial losses of US air power. It’s a very difficult mission set to equip and train for in 4th Gen fighters, but we did it and executed it well in Desert Storm.

With 5th Gen, it’s basically unfair against Russian A2AD systems, which have already been defeated for sport by Turkey and Israel using much less-expensive systems in Syria and Libya.

lol. Well, there is parts of what you said I agree with and other parts I don’t, but don’t fret, as I already have the Holy Ghost in me and I was baptized in Jesus’ name as was commanded by Peter and the apostles. That is why I am called apostolic. Oh, yes and the Pharisees and sadducees called the apostles heretics clear back then
Apostolic Holiness....or a flavor of the same.
Yeah...good for you, and good luck with that.

The trinity 100% was founded at nicea
Also here are teachings about the nature of God from pre-nicean and apostolic fathers (the guys who learned directly from the apostles) God was understood as one divine nature in 3 distinct persons well before Nicea. Their teachings are not canon, but show Trinitarian though in the early church

Polycarp Disciple of John

"O Lord God almighty . . . I bless you and glorify you through the eternal and heavenly high priest Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, through whom be glory to you, with Him and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever" (n. 14, ed. Funk; PG 5.1040).
Justin Martyr

"For, in the name of God, the Father and Lord of the universe, and of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, they then receive the washing with water" (First Apol., LXI).
Ignatius of Antioch

"In Christ Jesus our Lord, by whom and with whom be glory and power to the Father with the Holy Spirit for ever" (n. 7; PG 5.988).
"We have also as a Physician the Lord our God Jesus the Christ the only-begotten Son and Word, before time began, but who afterwards became also man, of Mary the virgin. For ‘the Word was made flesh.' Being incorporeal, He was in the body; being impassible, He was in a passable body; being immortal, He was in a mortal body; being life, He became subject to corruption, that He might free our souls from death and corruption, and heal them, and might restore them to health, when they were diseased with ungodliness and wicked lusts." (Alexander Roberts and James Donaldson, eds., The ante-Nicene Fathers, Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1975 rpt., Vol. 1, p. 52, Ephesians 7.)
Irenaeus

"The Church, though dispersed throughout the whole world, even to the ends of the earth, has received from the apostles and their disciples this faith: . . . one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them; and in one Christ Jesus, the Son of God, who became incarnate for our salvation; and in the Holy Spirit, who proclaimed through the prophets the dispensations of God, and the advents, and the birth from a virgin, and the passion, and the resurrection from the dead, and the ascension into heaven in the flesh of the beloved Christ Jesus, our Lord, and His manifestation from heaven in the glory of the Father ‘to gather all things in one,' and to raise up anew all flesh of the whole human race, in order that to Christ Jesus, our Lord, and God, and Savior, and King, according to the will of the invisible Father, ‘every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess; to him, and that He should execute just judgment towards all . . . '" (Against Heresies X.l)
Tertullian
"We define that there are two, the Father and the Son, and three with the Holy Spirit, and this number is made by the pattern of salvation . . . [which] brings about unity in trinity, interrelating the three, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are three, not in dignity, but in degree, not in substance but in form, not in power but in kind. They are of one substance and power, because there is one God from whom these degrees, forms and kinds devolve in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit." (Adv. Prax. 23; PL 2.156-7).
Origin

"If anyone would say that the Word of God or the Wisdom of God had a beginning, let him beware lest he direct his impiety rather against the unbegotten Father, since he denies that he was always Father, and that he has always begotten the Word, and that he always had wisdom in all previous times or ages or whatever can be imagined in priority . . . There can be no more ancient title of almighty God than that of Father, and it is through the Son that he is Father" (De Princ. 1.2.; PG 11.132).
"For if [the Holy Spirit were not eternally as He is, and had received knowledge at some time and then became the Holy Spirit] this were the case, the Holy Spirit would never be reckoned in the unity of the Trinity, i.e., along with the unchangeable Father and His Son, unless He had always been the Holy Spirit." (Alexander Roberts and James Donaldson, eds., The Ante-Nicene Fathers, Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1975 rpt., Vol. 4, p. 253, de Principiis, 1.111.4)
"Moreover, nothing in the Trinity can be called greater or less, since the fountain of divinity alone contains all things by His word and reason, and by the Spirit of His mouth sanctifies all things which are worthy of sanctification . . . " (Roberts and Donaldson, Ante-Nicene Fathers, Vol. 4, p. 255, de Principii., I. iii. 7).
Clement of Alexandria:

God is indemonstrable and therefore is not an object of knowledge. But the Son is Wisdom and Knowledge and Truth and all that is akin to these, and he admits of demonstration and explanation. All the powers of the Spirit gathered together into unity complete the notion of the Son, but he is not completely expressed by our conception of each of his powers. He is not merely one, as unity, or many, as having parts, but One as All. Hence he is All. For he is the circle of all powers, which in him are rounded and united. Stromateis 4.25 (156.1).
Believe, O mortal, in him who is man and God: believe in him who suffered and is worshiped as the living God. Servants, believe in him who was dead; all people, believe in him who is the only God of all humankind. Believe and receive salvation for your reward. Exhortation to the Greeks 10.(106).
Eusebius of Caesarea:

In the same manner, or rather in a manner that far surpasses all likeness or comparison, the perfect Word of the supreme God, as the only-begotten Son of the Father—not consisting in the power of utterance, or comprehended in syllables and parts of speech or conveyed by a voice that vibrates on the air, but being himself the living and effectual Word of the most High and subsisting personally as the power and wisdom of God—proceeds from his Father’s deity and kingdom. Thus, being the perfect offspring of a perfect Father and the common preserver of all things, he diffuses himself with living power throughout creation and pours from his own fullness abundant supplies of reason, wisdom, light and every other blessing, not only on objects nearest to himself but also on those most remote, whether in earth or sea or any other sphere of being. To all these, he appoints with perfect equity their limits, places, laws and inheritance, allotting to each their suited portion according to his sovereign will. Oration on Constantine 12.4-5.
This only-begotten Word of God reigns, from ages that had no beginning to infinite and endless ages, the partner of his Father’s kingdom. Oration on Constantine 2.1.

A little message that applies to the Book of Mormon and others
Rev 22 : 18-19
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

The trinity 100% was founded at nicea
No sorry it did not the Bible and church history shows that it did not. The WORD trinity was codified at Nicea, but the teaching and aspects of the trinity is in the NT and in early Christian teachings. Again you do not understand history.

I said this before but I will say it again.
First, you are appealing to the fallacy of specificity. Yes the word Trinity does not appear in the Bible, but you know what other word doesn’t? Monotheism. Does that mean that the Christian faith isn’t monotheistic? Absolutely not. What it means is we sometimes give categorical names to theological truths we see in scripture.

Next Nicaea was not called to establish the doctrine of the Trinity, as it has its roots in ancient Judaism and the New Testament. Even the patristic fathers spoke of the Trinity. The counsel was called to address heresies that had popped up, mainly Arianism but also this heresy of modalism. The Nicene Creed was produced to officially codify into writing the long held belief of the Trinity. Ask yourself why would non-trinitarian heresies exist prior to Nicaea if the Trinity was invented at Nicaea? The fact is it goes all the way back to Jesus and had its roots in the Jewish understanding of the “Two powers in heaven” doctrine (go read up on that). Example Gen 19:24 “YHWH God rains down fire from YHWH out of heaven”

@Shootin25 is your new bolt still looking good?

@Csafisher it looks and feels fantastic. Could be in my head, but it feels as if it may even be getting a little slicker.
Shot a match last weekend, + some more random ammo testing. Thinking it’s right around 1500 rounds to date.

6.5 Creedmoor

What is the reason for using small rifle primers? I reload 6.5G and .308 win so I have both on hand.
These days, I'd say it's because they're so much more available than LRP's. Other than that, the SRP brass can withstand more pressure due to there being more brass in the case head and this means the brass can last longer. In terms of performance, as mentioned, there can be a nice increase in consistency (measured by SD's) and on target, that can show up with a little better results. BUT. . . how well they might perform in these larger cartridges will depend on the ambient temperatures the cartridges are held in as there can be ignition problems in cold winter use.
