K-Bars What Knife is in your pocket right now?

Way back when I was doing hobby level karate, a Sensei told us that the basic thing to do when attacked with a knife is to move your body out of the way. A mile or so is about right.
A long time ago I was told something similar by someone who knew abit about blade work.

There are 2 rules to knife fighting.

Rule #1 Always run from a knife fight!

Rule #2 Alway revert to rule #1!

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

So @91Eunozs got me wanting the cucumber salad.

Mine tasted great but boy did I shank slicing the cucumber it's self. Not thinking I sliced them paper thin, don't do that.

The balsamic 🥒 vinegar was spot on for flavor and onions, bell peppers 🌶️ were good in it.

Wife and I finished it but disappointed with mistake.

Oh forgot fresh ginger and garlic infused the oil and vinegar and then the chunks were removed.

A good stir fry 🐔 and peppers 🌶️ topped off supper and I used a couple of big chunks of fresh ginger while cooking it then removed them.

It was late and wife didn't want any 🍚 rice.

I would cut the cucumber in 3/16th thick pieces next time.

An unapologetic thread about "manly" things...

I've got to give you sincere props there as a Dad- I vividly remember when I purchased my Luminox (I got it from Gander Mountain shortly before I enlisted) and my own father chastised me constantly for spending so much on a watch (I reckon it would have been about $250 then) and honest to goodness I still to this day remember my father's 'counterpoint' in what watch I "should" have purchased... (random picture but I assure you that it was this exact watch then)

Anyway- not trying to make this about me & my relationship with my father- just want to say that I'm sure your son remembers you purchasing that watch for him and that he still thinks about it all these years later like I am (I really do mean for this to come across as a sincere compliment to you).

UNCOMMANDED STRIKER PISTOL DISCHARGES

Interestingly enough I did a test with a buddies PSA Dagger with a shitty 6lbs trigger and if I hold the trigger to the wall and smack the slide really hard it will release the striker.
On the other hand, my 19X with a 3.5 lbs JG trigger (before the vex shoe) I couldn’t get it to release the striker even though it’s a much lighter trigger.
Not sure if it’s a gen3 vs gen5 where you get more sear/ cruciform engagement or perhaps it’s simple as junk PSA parts vs Gaston’s OEM perfection.

SIGGERS keep coping tho, your Indo-MIM jewish gun is shit.

schmidt and bender ultra short vs minox zp5 3-15

That’s interesting. I have a couple of ZP5’s and they both have very good turrets, I would call them exceptional. Same as the image quality. I did have to send one back though, so I hear you about not wanting to lose it for three months.
I’ve had several ZP5’s over the years, one had mediocre turrets others were pretty fantastic except for the resistance between 1st and 2nd rev which I felt was a little too tight. Sent my first scope back to Germany and said “fix my turrets please” and it came back with outstanding feel. The biggest issue with Minox is lack of support in US.

I guess the rich got tired of flying to Aspen. Taking over towns closer to home now.

"Nestled in the magnificent Trinity Alps region of Northern California, Weaverville delivers that increasingly elusive trifecta of authentic historical character, stunning natural surroundings, and genuine small-town warmth."

Gold Rush era mining town that hosts murky elite retreat transforms into stunning mountain getaway

🤣😂🤣😂 Pay wall stopped me from reading but 1....that picture ain't Weaverville and 2.....there isn't any elite retreat here. Funny shit though.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

some member of zelensky's party is caught up in the corruption and bribery deal, and they are making a fuss like he's the only one.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Factory Defect...?

Some good advice above, not sure I can add but do you only have only one barrel for your MRAD? Another test would be to throw a different barrel in there, maybe a combo that previously shot lights out? If you don’t have another barrel then remove, re-attach and re-torque before your next outing.

Hornady Match 6.5 Creed usually got me 1/2” or less at 100 yards with my AI barrels so unless something is wrong with your barrel I doubt the factory ammo is the culprit.
