Which is the best AR-10 without barrel deflection: the Geissele MRGG or the Seekins SP10M?

I feel like this topic is blown way out of proportion, yes not all uppers are created equally but at the same time you need to know your rifle.

Next time you're practicing at the range with a Bipod and rear bag, shoot from the Prone, Bench, Barricade and standing with tripod.

The 4 Rifles/Uppers that reduce POI shift the most are as follows...IMO

(1) LMT MWS and LaRue OBR.

The LaRue OBR is going to provide the best of both worlds with it's bullet proof design and true free floating barrel design.

With the LMT you won't be able to compete with it's rigidity from it's one peace Upper/Handguard but achieving Consistent all day Sub MOA is challenging, even with custom Bartlein barrels the LMT is just a finicky bitch.

(2) JP LRI-20 and Seekins SP10

The JP and SP10 are similar in design with their integral barrel nut design but both have area's to improve on.

The SP10 really needs Heli Coil inserts in the Upper receiver for the Handguard screws and the JP could benefit from a larger ejection port, bolth rifles would benefit from some alternative handguard designs.

(3) Another rifle that has excellent rigidity and accuracy is the LaRue PredatAR's. The accuracy that the PredatAR's have with a quality Cut rifled barrel are phenomenal.

With all the builds I've done over the years the most accurate rifles have been built off of LaRue OBR, PredatAR (Small and Large frame) and Seekins SP10 build kits.

I ALWAYS buy them just to have a few on hand for precision builds.
The LMT'S can be finicky, can confirm. Love them paired with Bartlein though.

Which AR-10 has the least barrel deflection and is considered the best?

Will this brass still make accurate ammo

you have to brush the inside to remove the scale or what ever it is from annealing them. What you are seeing is the brass is galling inside the neck.
That's what I thought when I saw that for the first time and thinking I should also see something like that on the bearing surfaces of pulled bullets. So I pulled some bullets to take a look; bearing surfaces were as smooth as they were before seating with no signs of galling or scrapes. If there's brass partials, like what might come off a chamfer from a dull cutting tool, that galls the inside of the neck that's brass, they'd surely do the same to the softer surface of a bullet. Huh?

Accuracy International Picture Thread

Ya in Illinois where I’m at, it’s only getting worse. Absolutely cannot buy semi auto rifles, no cans, no mags over 10 rounds, the list goes on. The way around it, is to get your FFL and SOT. I got mine all done in about 3 months, and I can get a can in about 3 days….its so sweet. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a while. Shooting, especially by myself is so much more pleasant.
Silly question, but what cleaning rod do you use to clean that 48" barrel?

Follow my 7 dumbo project aka 7 dasher!!

Took it out to distance today, and it shot great.
Im curious if anybody else has experience with 190 atips? Looks like hornady is either overstating bc values on them or my bc is being compromised, could easily be a bit of both.

Maybe its a result of them being factory 2nd atips?
If indeed this is the bc I'll get out of them it makes total sense to drop down to a 180 or possibly lighter.
