Athlon helos 2-12 alternative

Was in the market for the same scope (Athlon Helos 2-12) and just ordered one from WalMart! Was in a bind with the back orders as well, but who knew WalMart would have em. Appreciate the help!

I did own a Credo 2-10 years back and posted a pretty lengthy review on here if you’d like to check it out. My only issue with that scope was wanting adjustable parallax. Always felt like my eye was fighting between a crisp reticle or crisp picture. I’ve since sold it but otherwise it’s a fantastic optic.
It's funny that you mention it. I have and use a Athlon Helos 2-12 on a 6.5 Hunting rifle because I wanted adjustable parallax and a illuminated largish reticle for use on game, when lighting is dim.

On the other hand I bought a Trijicon 2-10x36mm for my AR 18" barreled MK12ish Clone for both it's finer reticle (for daylight use) and lack of parallax adjustment.

My rational is that the AR is for quick deploy and shoot targets (In the best of traditional SHTF fantasies) when you don't want to waste time fiddling with side parallax on a potentially a dangerous moving target.

Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it....

Mangy dog

In the late eighties, we shot many, many coyotes in Northern California that looked exactly like your yotes. We were killing coyotes on a ranch that was losing cows and calves to the coyotes. We killed a boatload.

We would set up in certain drainages with shotguns and buck-shot and just flock shoot the groups of mangy coyotes once they came in.

By the mid nineties, there were only a few coyotes around and they looked as healthy as a coyote can.

You sir, have a coyote problem.

execution for these types is a must do. this kind of behavior has to be stopped. same applies to the Biden imports. we are failing to protect our society's members. we are preventing citizens to do what is needed a la Penny. i just don't believe that a society showing such lack of guts can survive as something worth living in and protecting from REAL external threats.

Which 7.62x39 upper do you guys recommend?

I took my c39V2 out yesterday with an assortment of ammunition. Shooting from a solid bench, with bipod at 50 yards, with a 3x prism, none were terribly impressive.

Monarch Poly Coated- 2.3 MOA
Monarch Laquer Coated- 3.2 MOA
PPU Brass- 4.3 MOA
Fiocci Brass 5 MOA
Belom Brass- 2.9 MOA

For perspective, I also shot 2 x 5 round groups from my 12.5" 6.5 Grendel at the same range.

Hornady Black BTHP- 0.98 and 0.69 MOA

(Target was reused, cut out pieces are from load dev for a different rifle...)

techy guys, please read. looking for summer internship in tech field for sophomore college student.

As a student , I went through my Universities job placement service to get my first job.

I did a quick search and noticed that Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has the same service for jobs as well as co-op and internships. Going this route the companies understand that the students don't have the contacts in industry that helps later on. I would think that this would be the best way, and I am assuming he has already tried this? What may have happened here?
