Leveling a scope is dumb

Or maybe its me

OK
RimX action
Spuhr mount with level (lol)
Razor 6x36 G3
MDT send it
Light in objective
Plumb line and shadow on wall

I leveled Spuhr mount with its bubble. Then flashlight in objective to plumb line shadow on wall. Nothing else levels out.
Put level on scope, mount, or gun everything is canted. I am going with plumb line and gravity.

I do some fine tuning trying to get scope, mount or gun level with bubble and MDT send it stays solid green saying its good (😊) the whole time even as plumb line shadow shows me how crooked the scope is.

I've always been financially conservative. At this point, I would label myself risk-averse. If I make a serious error, I don't have the time to wait for the recovery. I'm too old to be poor. Fortunately, my only vice is shooting.
Im finding it hard to find the balance between doing/enjoying things now and work all the time/saving. Like I literally haven’t done much of anything for 5 years now trying to save and invest as much as I can. I’ve always been super financially conservative and thats all great and everything but I also feel like I need to back off some and start enjoying things. If y’all got any advice for a guy in his mid 40’s on how to balance all these things, I’m all ears. It’s not easy when you got bills, aspirations, kids, college, weddings to save for and on and on and on.

6cm and the bullet unseating

I shot Altus' AI classic this weekend. I used my better half's 6mm Creedmoor. It's an Impact action with a Proof prethreaded competition profile barrel. The rifle has maybe 100 rounds through it until Saturday. Hornady 108gr ELD-M ammo was being used. The problem I had through out the match was when I seated a round and time was called, more than once (SEVEN times actually), I would go to clear the rifle and the unfired round would come apart with the bullet stuck in the barrel and the case and unfired powder ejecting from the action. A couple people suggested that the ammo is crappy, another couple more said carbon build up. I've never had a problem with Hornady match ammo before and I run it in my 6.5cm with no problems...

Tariffs and ammo prices?

I agree and despite my arguments, I am on the same page about how bad things are and the need for change.
I guess at my core I wish a huge effort was being made, I just wish Trump and a bunch of billionaires were not calling the shots.

I don't trust Trump, I'm sure regardless of how this turns out, he and the billionaires will be better off, but I'm not sure we will be.
You don't think billionaires aren't pulling and/or calling the shots when the left and liberals are holding the presidency or control of congress?
Don't believe or sound so naive.

Fuck. Why can't shit like that ever happen to me?
If you are wishing you had a reason to shoot someone, shooting a person is nothing to romanticize or fanaticize about. False bravado gets a lot of people backed into corners they lack the ability to escape from. Whether you want to believe it or not, once you actually shoot another person your life is changed forever, not matter the circumstances.

East Plano Islamic Center: 74 homes only member of Masque can purchase. Sharia Law etc

People don't know that the entire Waco incident was the result of a property tax scheme.

Benjamin Roden formed the "Branch Davidians" and made the Mount Carmel "compound" property of his "church" so that he wouldn't have to pay tax on it.

George Roden tried to come at Koresh in court after he was run off, to get the family land back... except it wasn't his "family land," it belonged to the Church- and Koresh was now the head of the Church, at the request of the congregation. All solid and legit.

If Roden kept it in his own name, it would have been passed down hereditarily to his son- and Koresh might have formed his own little group or joined a touring rock band or opened a range or whatever.

Roden contacted police and alleged guns, drugs*, child molestation and anything else that would get Koresh and his "disloyal" flock murdered by the state.

*The drug angle was actually how they got the National Guard involved:

Suspicions that cult leader David Koresh was operating an illicit drug lab prompted federal agents to seek assistance from the National Guard in the raid.

Post-9/11 I'm sure Roden would have thrown in a vague "terrorism" accusation, perhaps some "human trafficking" accusations... etc......

300 Norma Magnum - StaBALL HD Powder Experience and Barrel Erosion Concerns

1. I use 79.2 gn of Hodgdon H1000 with Berger 230's and get accuracy at distance (to a mile or more) and single-digit SD's. It's a charge that has worked flawlessly for me.

2. I bought some StaBall HD when it first came out but didn't get great results, so I just went back to my go-to H1000.

3. I've noticed the StaBall line (especially 6.5) to be a lot dirtier than the alternatives, but it just means cleaning more and has no impact on barrel longevity that I can see.

StaBall 6.5 is my go-to for 6.5 Creedmoor and I'm OK with "dirtier" since it gets awesome results from that caliber.

Here's my go-to recipe for H1000 ... in case it helps.

I've had kind of similar results with the Staball line, 6.5 is one of my go to powders, especially for Creedmoor, Match is also a good addition to the stable, but HD has not been stand out for me where I tried it in 7 PRC.

When I first started investing I'll admit I was fairly conservative, still am to some degree. In the beginning of my investing career I read a lot of Peter Lynch and Buffet and that has guided my choices. Boring I'll admit but I'm a blue collar guy, so I try to be smart with my money.
I just wish I had started doing this 20 years ago. I feel like I’m way behind the curve and look at these events as opp to possibly make up ground to get closer to where I feel like I should be at my age.

I am a little older than you. Been investing for 44 years.

I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment. Lack of patience, hubris, and FOMO are the main reasons people make errors.
