Suppressors 6.5 PRC suppressors

Have a KGM R30K and recently bought a KGM R6.5K to test the difference in suppression. Obviously not a huge size difference and I’m shooting 223 and 6 dasher so caliber/suppressor matched sizes.

For me, I can’t hear a difference and wish I would have just bought another 30 cal. I wear ear protection even when shooting suppressed unless it’s 1 shot for hunting and even then I carry ear plugs and try to put them in if I have time.

When I had a 6.5prc I ran the R30K and an older TBAC 9” 30cal can. The longer TBAC was quieter but I preffered the faster recoil impulse of the KGM, lighter weight and shorter so that’s what I ran.

All of that has been done already, with negligible gains. If anyone wants a highly modified 6mm Grendel based wildcat they were already doing it way before ARC existed.
For the other 99.999% of shooters, they want to pull ammo out of a box and shoot it, pull brass from a bag and load it, buy standard dies, order in stock barrels off a website and never own a custom reamer that needs to be sent to a gunsmith.
I don't think many people will mess with the ARC recipe.

gun slide wasnt even in battery. he couldnt get one chambered. i dont blame the cashier, why fight someone for some corporate money, but if he's trying to rob me at gun point, im taking that nonfunctional pistol out of his hand ASAP and going to work on him.

i may or may not be of a different fight experience and stature than the cashier there. so i get it.

I don't think HPA is pulling or driving the "big beautiful bill." For anyone who has week long memory, didn't they try to remove it from the bill? 🤔 Not just remove it but remove the tax. Which would have both created a need for more agents to process a mountain of new free form 4s and bottlenecked suppressor purchasing wating for zero dollar approvals.
