You hear a lot of reasons why the AI wasn't picked. Too heavy, too expensive, supposedly one trigger failed ect. I bet a lot of politics and money were exchanged under the table on why the Barrett was picked. Even look at all the other new contracts being rewarded. Sig wins most of them and I think most of the new Sig products are junk.

I had dropped shots for the first time after that one update, after the newest on fixing that glitch, zero issues. Mine prompted me to do the update when I turned it on at the range, preparing for a load development session, I swear if a Garmin rep was there I would've choked the fucker out. The great part was I had 0 SD's!

I kind of went through the sake evolution. If you load similar quality components in both the 223 and 6mm or 6.5mm you don't save much $. I sold my 223 and kids and wife shoot the 6mm just fine. I hated loading the little 223 cases anyways.

Same thing with the Dillon and everything else. Set it up to run "practice" ammo for your main gun and and it's a wash.

Now the 22LR is great for teaching trigger press and seeing drift and drop at close enough ranges. We shoot a lot of 22lr still.

My job under a couple different corporate flags had retirement benefits.

Then they went to 401k's available.
And then at major contract time the union sold out the new hires so us vested employees could keep our retirement income intact.

That did several things, helped split up the workers against each other and the union. But it made it to where new employees had zero reason not to be migratory.

I took money I saved not in a 401k and bought company stock when it crashed and made out well.

The money I spent over the years on women, booze, outdoor sports and good food was well spent and can't be taken by anyone.

The rest I just wasted.

When it cams over and the firing pin leaves the ramp, the bolt jumps back much more than as new. Maybe I got unlucky and mine is worse than others. But like I said, it shoots and cycles great…
