Optics IRay RH50R MK2 LRF Thermal

I have an IRay mk2 that's a few months old that I picked up on a trade from a friend of mine, the zoom was glitching and it came back from IRay today after being repaired so it's got a clean bill of health and ready to go. It's in its original box with everything included. Not interested in any more trades at this time. 4750 shipped

What Optic Are YOU Running?

So I got the theos shipped to my door for $2050 whereas the G3 Eurooptic black edition was $3000. I definitely wouldn’t pay full price or even $2700, which seems to be common, for the theos. At that price, I would go G3.
Just looked it up here in Canukistan. $700 cheaper than the G3. Capped windage? That doesn’t do what I need done.

What Optic Are YOU Running?

So having both (kept the theos), I primarily find myself using the theos. Both are great scopes, but the element reticle suits me better than the G3. Both have pros and cons, and I don’t think you could go wrong with either! If I had to choose only one, it would be the theos due to the reticle and the tool-less zero stop.
Price comparison?

Titanium sleeve barrels

Once chambered these will be within a few oz of a proof carbon checking weight on the 20in.
Yeah, I don't think they will give you a weight savings over cf, but if there is a performance advantage at the same weight, I'm in. I can't help but think that titanium would be an improvement over cf in heat mitigation.

Precision Rifle Gear Sig KILO Warp WMLRF

I’m excited for them, even the 950nm, because Sig really has the laser performance dialed in. Their binos consistently out perform others in all weather conditions and it not even close in fog and rain. They also return a solution faster then other on the market. The Vector X finally came along and gave the KILO competition.

I’m hoping the Warp will have the same performance.
I'd like to know how they manage good returns with a 950nm laser in rain and fog. I practically only shoot at night in NW FL and nothing in the 900nm range has been able to punch fog/rain on bad nights when a 1550 still can.

I'm not saying it won't, but I haven't seen anything less than the 1550 be able to do it, which is what makes me more interested in the 15k for $5000 vs shelling out twice that on some of the other units when I want multiple rifles setup for taking my wife/daughter/dad out shooting.

Looking for a truck gun

I'm from North Idaho and there are some crazy ass people there. Do it right. Forget aero precision, Anderson, and all that junk. Get a Geissele or an LMT or some of these other better brands recommended above (Daniel defense if you can stomach their politics, an older colt, bcm is good). My 12" lmt feels like it can do almost everything my 16" can do.....put a law tactical folder on it if you want it shorter, a surefire light or equivalent, and good glass. You won't regret it. People always recommend cheap gear for a "truck gun" because it will be thrown around or you'll only be out a few hundred if it gets stolen. That never made sense to me. If you are carrying this everywhere in your truck chances are that's the gun you'll have if the s*** hits the fan and you need something that absolutely works in that scenario. A high end AR can take the abuse of Marines and /or being tossed around the backseat of your truck. I don't want something cheap and I would take every precaution that it doesn't get stolen anyway.
Yeah I live up here as well in the Silver Valley. There are some goof balls around here and it seems to take the Sheriff 20 mins to respond unless you're going 5 over in town and then they seem to be everywhere. 😂

I was hoping there might be a Remington 870 of ARs out there but I guess i'll just have to work a little overtime to get the benelli.
