Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

That doesn't quite look like the Salmon, but it could be. Boat headed down steam and the road is on the wrong side.
Here's a video of one of the turbine boats. Once they make the turn at the confluence of the Little Salmon it's a drag race from there to the finish. We camp at Island Bar to watch the final 1/4 mile or so. Damn things are FAST!

This is what cowards do. Hide behind anonymous screen names and run their mouths. Not one of you would ever say anything remotely like this in my presence. You all know it's true too. That's how you know clearly what kind of cowards you are. You know you'd never have the balls to face a man and talk like this. You're literally the most pathetic people on this forum. Wastes of oxygen. I cannot even imagine being this void of decency.

Rifle Scopes $2500 MSRP Limit (PRS Production Class)

The BA PMR Pro 2 is under the $3k production limit.

No worries on shooting production tac…I’m not that desperate lol.

One reason I want to do production class is to limit myself. My NRL gun quickly ballooned into quite the investment with a ZCO and every bell and whistle imaginable. I’m sure I’ll wind up in open, just wanted to dabble in production class and make sure that known distance stuff is worth going full send.

I have a buddies S3 4-25 right now, just compared the reticle in it to my Kahles 525i DLR SKMR4 and my ZCO 527 MPCT2x and I didn’t think the reticle thickness was extremely obvious but really need to get them to the range and look at distance to make sure it wouldn’t bother me.

And yep, shame about the Element. I’d try it out if not for the MSRP.

Considering a Bushy XRS3 with the XQL, in pictures atleast I like that reticle. After a few competitions with my ZCO I really like the floating dots at full mil wind holds.

The Bushnell will be a big let down. I bought one and compared it to some of the others you mentioned and sold it as I was not happy at all with it.

Get the S3. Best out of your list and the reticle is not too thick at all. It’s dark which makes people think it’s thick but it’s not. It’s better than the Tract.

More than 98 -1. Now thats a body count.

On this day, 81 years ago, on July 7, 1944, Captain Benjamin L. Salomon, age 29, was serving as the battalion surgeon with the 2nd Battalion, 105th Infantry Regiment, 27th Infantry Division, during the Battle of Saipan in the Mariana Islands. His aid station was set up approximately 50 yards behind the front-line foxholes.
At around 0500 hours, a massive banzai charge was launched by approximately 3,000 to 5,000 Japanese troops against the American perimeter. Within moments, the forward positions were overwhelmed and the aid station began receiving wounded soldiers. As Salomon treated the injured, enemy soldiers began to breach the aid station. One Japanese soldier bayoneted a wounded American. Salomon grabbed a rifle and killed him. He then shot one and bayoneted another who had entered the tent. Four more enemy soldiers crawled under the walls. Salomon killed three using a rifle, bayonet, and hand-to-hand combat. The fourth was killed by a wounded American inside the tent.
Realizing the station would soon be overrun, Salomon ordered the wounded to be evacuated. He took a rifle and left the tent to cover their withdrawal. Outside, four machine gunners had already been killed near a .30 caliber M1917 Browning machine gun. Salomon took over the gun and began firing at the advancing enemy. He held his position under overwhelming fire to cover the retreat of the aid station personnel and the wounded.
When American forces retook the position days later, they found Salomon's body slumped over the machine gun. He had been shot or bayoneted 76 times, at least 24 of which were sustained while he was still alive. In front of his position were the bodies of 98 dead Japanese soldiers.
Captain Benjamin L. Salomon was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor on May 1, 2002. The award was delayed due to policy restrictions about medical personnel bearing arms in combat. After decades of review and advocacy, the medal was approved and presented by President George W. Bush. He is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Rifle Scopes Help me choose a light(er) FFP hunting/target scope

I have a pair of matching rifles (a complete 22" 6.5mm Creedmoor and a 22" 7mm Sherman Short build in progress), and I'd like to put matching scopes on them as well. Currently the 6.5 CM has a K525i DLR on it which I am quite fond of, however I wonder if I might enjoy something lighter. I'm not totally against putting another one of these on the 7SS when it's built.

I hunt with the 6.5 and intend to do so with the 7SS as well, but I'm not a backcountry hunter packing them around for dozens of miles. I live in Alabama and am mostly a "walk 1/4 mile to the deer stand" kind of hunter. I've been on a couple guided hunts out west (antelope and mule deer) and even then we rarely got more than 1/2 mile from the truck. I say that to say that I'm not trying to shave absolutely every ounce off that I can, but I also don't necessarily want to lug a Razor Gen III around. I also shoot steel fairly often with the 6.5 out to 1000 yards, and I will do so with the 7SS as well.

The options I'm weighing currently:
Razor LHT 4.5-22
Nightforce NX8 2.5-20
Leupold Mk 4HD 6-24
Stick with the K525i DLR

Criteria - FFP, MIL, max magnification in the 20-25x range, good tracking, good turrets, "good enough" glass to be able to see animals in a variety of conditions

The LHT is the lightest and is probably #1 on my list, but I've heard mixed reviews on durability. The NX8 has a reputation for a less than forgiving eyebox, but the durability isn't a concern. The Mk 4HD isn't illuminated, but otherwise seems like it might be an OK option.

Anyone have any thoughts?
I have the HD-LHT and on a lightweight gun, it is my preferred option. That having been said, I do also have the Mark 4HD 4.5-18x52 and like it a lot. I have seen the 6-24x Mark 4HD, but I have not tested it.

If you are shaving ounces, go with the HD-LHT.

So this is the corner of the internet where the really pathetic fuckers suck each other off? It's like a who's who of people who should drink a gallon of bleach, (with a couple exceptions). I cannot imagine being so pathetic that I would sit around in a group and anonymously talk shit about someone behind their back. You're a bunch of cowards. Most of you are blocked, and not because I am concerned about what you say, simply because you've proven that you have nothing useful to say about anything ever. It's really sad that a bunch of grown ass children have nothing better to do. Bunch of slack Jawed faggots.
