Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

It's a wide angle fov scope made by the same manufacturer. I suspect the same tight eye box exists is the same product line (FX series). But then you probably knew that.
Not necessarily, there are multiple factors that contribute to tight eyebox, but saying one model from a manufacturer means another model (even in the same line) isn't fair as every scope has its own unique optical formula. The 4.5-28 uses a 6.2x erector while the 5-42x uses an 8.4x erector which in and of itself creates for a different optical formula.

So whats you plan, for when the grid an/or net drops?

It would be interesting on who would fare better urban or sub urban , i think the city people would tend to only care about themselves with no plan for the long haul [pretty much how they have lived] where the lakeside community would fare much better if they could organize and make the right decisions .
I don’t have to wonder, it would be a shit sandwich for all. Think Wild West but worse and it would suck big time until enough people said screw all this mess and the violence and attitude and decided to become civilized again.

Rifle Scopes Atacr gen 2

Labradar refused to innovate because they kept selling…. Until Garmin came along. Then it was too late for Labradar.

I do realize NF =/= Labradar and the markets are very different. But the metaphorical story still has a lesson.
Well, plenty of other manufacturers have come out with new scopes and while they may be popular it does not appear to affect NF's ability to continue to sell their older products. Heck, look at all the great 3-18 scopes that have come out since the ATACR 4-16x42 and yet that one scope continues to sell and do well. If anything, it was likely the pressure from the competition in the 5-25 class that caused NF to think outside the box a bit and come up with the 7-35, but here's the catch - I do not believe the 7-35 is so popular because it offers 35x as much as it is optically superior to their 5-25 model. Yes, while many of us would love to see NF innovate and come out with a new ATACR II lineup, I'm not sure they really need to, at least not yet from their perspective. So let's say this new rumored Vortex RG3 just happens to be amazing and begins to cut into NF 4-16x42 sales, I would not be surprised if within a year or so we see a new model from NF. So, in a way you are correct, but thus far there has not been another scope that could take away enough sales of NF ATACR for it to encourage them to bring another product to market.

Suppressors Suppressor transfers in the no tax stamp era

Before buying suppressors, I set up a gun trust but I never used it. When Form 4 Individual applications were being turned around in less than 48 hours, that is the path I took. My rationale was that it is only me, myself, and I using them. I have them bequeathed in my will with Form 5 no-tax transfers pre-filled for the beneficiaries.

Once the fee is gone, I may transfer them from my as an individual to my trust. (I refuse to pay the gubbermint twice.) I assume it will be a Form 4 transfer. I wouldn't care how long it takes to process because I already have them. It may be irrelevant if GOA succeeds with its suit. Since it is still an NFA item, the trust just makes it a little easier to share with friends and family if I ever get less selfish. ;-)

Is anyone else thinking about this? Is it worth even bothering?

Dem lawmakers say their voters are threatening 'blood' and 'violence' over inability to hinder Trump: report

What do you mean “they will resort to violence?”

Judging by the news over the past year, they are well over the line and accelerating. Assassins, mass shootings, street violence, arson, attacking teslas, shooting ice agents….

Oh is that referred to as “mostly non-violent?”

Sirhr
Just the Teslas part.

Sheriff Grady Judd is an absolute LEGEND! :ROFLMAO:

Sheriff Judd's and former Sheriff Joe Arpaio's (Arizona) jurisdictions are probably the worst nightmares for criminals. Not only they WILL get caught and brought in, but they will be humiliated thoroughly.
