Chicken dinner for the first to tell me how many followers are in this overlay; the basis of which is my original follower from 2010.

Follower Overlay.JPG

There's one that isn't in the overlay because the departure angle isn't the same and it's the one that I get reports on of shaving lead "when adjusted properly." I'm not in any way substantiating those claims, as I've not experienced it for myself, but the point is, the reports I hear of what has worked best are in the overlay above.

So why have there been feed/cycle issues? I covered this in a prior post about an extreme departure from foundational information. The belt-sander-scandal in St. George was a kneejerk reaction to a claim that wasn't properly vetted, and it's part of what blossomed into at least four rabbit holes leading to things that don't need to be adjustable.

brand new car urge

i moved to florida from trenton nj right between 2 major corvette dealers and yepper fly into philly x and drive home to fla but now the pickins are slim with just about everything and it looks like an order is the way

I would still order a car from McMulkin or Ciocca and go get it. Like I said local dealers are generally shit unless you happen to have a decent one(pretty rare IMO). Nobody has an allocation that they will claim to have. McMulkin and Ciocca have the allocations and can actually get cars built. I believe McMulkin was doing 8% off 2026 orders last I checked.

IF you order think long and hard about going with a 3LZ interior... The dash bubbling is still alive and well. They just cant figure out the glue. The basically only difference from 2LZ to 3LZ is everything in the 3LZ is covered in leather or suede, beyond that 2LZ gets you everything 3LZ has equipment wise(PDR, all the blind zone sensors, digital rear view mirror, 14 speaker bose, etc... I think they sell the same amount of 2LZ cars as 1LZ and 3LZ cars combined.

Muzzle brake or suppressor for 300 WM?

Dude slow down. Now I see why you have a 20” 300WM. lol Slow down and do some research. Do not make a decision by what Recoil X has in stock as you can shoot it without that brake until in stock.

Rob sometimes people don’t want help they are just looking for people to affirm their poor decisions

To OP
A 20” 300WM is a up
Close hunting round not a “Sniperish” weapon. The 300WM needs 24” barrel minimum to take advantage of the case size for good burn. It really does best with a 28-30” barrel to be the best it can be

Now if you want 20” for military type needs go 6.5 Creedmoor. It will be a 1200 yard capable weapon
This is based on decades of use and study on this subject not thinking this would be cool

Its a constant battle to fool proof a design (both in production + field use/operation) vs maintain flexibility in the same.

Personally, I'm a fan of less moving parts, but I also do like the geometry to be fundamentally correct.
I’ll post overlays of numerous followers atop my original follower from 2010 that show the exact same departure angle. The aftermarket samples are marketed as “enhanced.”

All this follower hoopla started when someone at VGW pressed a follower to a belt sander by hand because someone said Eley didn’t feed and then declared it worked better.

All nonsense.
