22-250 Barrel Chop. Length vs noise/muzzle flip?

Bringing this back from the dead.

As far as noise goes, any experience with 22-250 noise/blast between a 26” vs. 23”?

Humor me here. I know this is a kinda dumb question, but I have an unusually sensitive left ear.

I have a 22” 22-250 and have had 26” in the past. Obviously not a side by side comparison but I don’t think there’s much difference. You generally have to get really short before there’s a noticeable difference and you can also run faster powders and help with muzzle blast in shorter barrels too.

If you’re worried about muzzle blast put a can on it.

Precision Rifle Gear Sig KILO Warp WMLRF

I have a 5k that is unbelievably awesome, but I think the hardware on their LRFs is like 5-7 years old now. This is a pretty new package, I suspect it is more than just a repackaged 5k or binos since it is this late to the game.
Does it matter that the hardware is X yrs old when it still outperforms most LRFs,..... some of which cost 2 or 3 times the $ ?

You guys their advertising department? :D
I'll check them out and order some beans.
It is amazing the notes different beans roasted in different ways will have when you brew them with different methods 🤣

He has educated me over the last decade.

He has a roast that has blueberry notes 😮 no added flavors, it just tastes “blueberry-y” because of the bean variety and the roast profile.

Some are citrus-like, some are creamy (Kilimanjaro), some are chocolate or coco, some even have tobacco notes.

Then how you brew will change it too. Percolating brings out all of these hidden notes because it is a longer multi-pass process. Cold brewing reduces acidity and makes it sweet.

Anyway thanks to any who order some. He is a good man who gives back.
