Zermatt Orgin 6.5CM light primer strikes??? ( pic heavy) *RESOLVED*

Had to take a hell of a lot of material off to get the bolt to fully close.
A longer teardrop bolt knob would help a little, but not much.
I would say a krg bravo doesnt fit an origin.

Got out to shoot and had no light strikes with imi mk262. Still had a couple (but less) with the one lot of aac 75bthp. I think that lot of ammo is just out of spec.

Maggie’s Credentialed but Illiterate

I'm sorry but all this sounds like a load of B.S. written by some over educated, totally out of touch with reality liberal arts professor in a University that never had to work a real competitive job.

It's the same old garbage the "overly educated and useless" class have spat out for centuries to explain why their pasty faces are so superior to the "regular folks"

This time they are just couching it in nice catch phrases designed to try to interest "conservatives" who actually care about children being actually functionally literate so they can work and have a good life.

That whole "feels" and "emphasizes" is a bunch of froth that totally takes away from an actual problem of children needing to know how to functionally write/read/count and do basic math (advanced math is NOT needed for most people as long as they know the basics).
And yet you seem pretty well educated and seem to be able to read and comprehend things. Do you read? Or do you actually think that it’s not necessary?

There should be zero question that reading and reading comprehension has taken a serious nosedive in public education. Any parent with half a brain can see that today.

Maggie’s Credentialed but Illiterate

One has to wonder are those pushing these services doing it to"help" the unfortunate, to make a buck, or to sabotage the poors and ensure future serfdom?
That’s a fair question. One that bears consideration beyond the obvious “make a buck” answer. Why not make a buck while creating a dumber and more easily swayed sheep class?

Maggie’s Credentialed but Illiterate

Thing is, we see this here on this very forum. People arguing about/for/against something without having actually read or comprehending what they did read. Then they argue based upon anecdotal logic instead of supporting their argument with anything factual.

How many times have we seen this meme when more than two sentences are used at a time?

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

October 8, 1918, Alvin York became one of the most decorated soldiers in U.S. Army History...

A pacifist from the mountains of Tennessee, he tried to avoid service as a conscientious Objector, claiming that he was not willing to kill other men. Yet he was also considered one of the best hunters, mountain men and shots in the region...

During the Meuse-Argonne offensive he killed some 32 Germans, many of them manning machine guns. Then captured 132 Germans including 4 officers. His actions silenced 35 machine guns in numerous nests. And saved his battalion from potential destruction.

His weapons were an '03 Bolt Action Springfield and a 1911 (Not a Luger as portrayed in the movie). With the 1911, he shot a whole squad of 5 Germans who were charging him... starting with the rear-most German, he killed them all before they reached his position.

After the war, the people of Tennessee bought him and his wife a farmstead/home that is now a national historic site. He refused all endorsements and offers of money for the use of his name... believing that he should not profit from his wartime service. But he did start a foundation to help educate rural farm kids, became a project supervisor for the Civilian Conservation Corps and tried to enlist in the Army in WW2. When he was not allowed because of his age, he became an advocate for training and supporting troops headed for Europe and the Pacific.

He was played by Gary Cooper in Sergeant York in 1941. Still one of my favorite movies! And a film that helped rally Americans to the cause in WW2. Lots of 'fiction' in it. But the basic story is from his diary and it remains one of the great American "War Films." Helped to motivate an entire generation of soldiers headed for the front in WW2.

Alvin York... The pacifist who became one of the most celebrated soldiers in American History! On this day
