Israel/iran

i think it has been forgotten. but i believe that about a month after Trump took office,Gabbard signed off on a report saying that Iran had not been working on nuc weapon enrichment and hadn't for several years. i also saw a report saying that Trump had told Netanyahu to back off of striking Iran. don't know how all that adds to the current disaster.
i really don't think Iran has to enrich on its own to get a nuc capability. IMHO there are countries in SW Asia,E Asia and Eurasia that would lend them a few.
the other issue that comes up is-like the Uke drone strike-did Trump know, did he OK it if he knew, did he just acquise? considering answers to that, what will his action be vis a vis the deep state and its supporters like Grahm. who,BTW,should be hung for treason along with Blumenthal.
and yea,the deep cells OBiden let in could well get activated. the ongoing urban warfare (has gone beyond riots) makes a perfect cover for that.

308 Muzzle Velocity with 175gr

I believe Shellshock is releasing Nas3 cases in 308 next month which "should" allow most of us 308'ers to push the heavies quite a bit faster.
Interesting that they're using the case design like Sig produces for their 277 Fury Hybrid cartridges.

They can't hold their own. Hence why they are gonna beg us to go after Iran after Iran counter attacks.
They wont have to beg. All the deceived idiots will be clamoring to protect God's Chosen People.

The Iranians are Islamic assholes.

The Israeli's are Zionist assholes.

As long as my shower water stays hot, fuck'em.

With Anzio essentially defunct, is anyone else making 20mm or larger modern rifles available in the U.S.?

When in doubt, call. So, I called Mike Remo (Anzio Ironworks) and he shared a few things.

  • He is in the process of selling off inventory. He still has for sale (thru a third-party FFL), twenty .50 cal rifles (not 20/50s) and 9 component sets for 20s. The latter can be assembled for sale thru a third-party FFL.
  • He also has match grade bullets (see pic). “The match 20 projectiles weigh in at 4.2 ounces (about 1840 grs) and are shooting ½ to ¾ moa. We sell them for $20 each.”
  • He also has the machine code (G-code) for the various parts. There is some possibility that the design and code may be sold and these rifles reborn.
  • Call (727-895-2019) or email him ([email protected]) to pursue any of the above.
That is what I know. Please reach out to Mike if you want more details.

@ELR researcher idk which client of Warner’s you were referring to earlier, but they are/were also publically building custom actions and maybe other components for a group out west that were doing a 14.9mm wildcat based on 20mm and using a very long custom Flatline bullet.

@Burpfire I think you misunderstood me, I’d be talking to Warner about building a 20mm gun, not trying to buy someone else’s wildcat project.
The party I'm referring to is not "out west" but they do have a custom action from a very well-respected action manufacturer.

The Shot You’ll Never Forget Giveaway - Enter To Win A Barrel From Rifle Barrel Blanks!

4 years ago I was on a back country elk hunt with my brother. We were packed in on horses 25 miles. On day 4 of the hunt we were running into many bugling bulls chasing cows but none of them were what we were looking for. A little further down the canyon we spot another bull that we weren’t going to pass up. He was 600 yards up the side of the canyon in front of us with no good shot available. We decided to try and cut the distance and get a better angle. Well as it worked out there wasn’t a better spot and we just kept moving in. We knew we were getting close but not exactly sure as he was just over a rise in the hill. We got ready and peaked over the hill. He was at 40 yards, surrounded by cows and ripping a bugle off right in our direction. I was packing a custom 6.5 creedmoor built on a stiller action, Brux barrel, in a McMillan game scout stock shooting hornady 147 eldms. I threw the gun up free hand and put one in its shoulder followed up shortly by another and he was done. He was a beautiful 6x6 going 340. We went to work quartering it out and loading it up on the horses. This area is thick with grizzly bears so we try to make quick work of it.

Israel/iran

While the world watches and says we need to help the Ukes who've been attacked by the Ruskies, the IDF is taking out or at least setting back a genuine threat ( Iran with a nuclear capability) to world peace. As much as I disapprove of sending more money to Israel and the MIC , at least we are now getting a real genuine return on that money. I'm not holding my breath that this will bring a long lasting peace to ME but at least calm things down a little.
Just telling my son this… almost verbatim! LoL

My Magnum Opus build. I'm naming it King Roland, of Druidia

I just got my LRB M25 rear lug receiver this morning. Through some sweet talk, I managed to reserve this receiver and have a rear lug welded on to it. Why this receiver? It has the serial number 12345.

I noticed the serial number trend a while back and inquired about it before it was made and spoken for. I reserved it before it was heat treated and it was included with their latest batch of rear lug M25's.

I'm naming it King Roland, of Druidia who famously set the access code to his planet's airlock to 1...2...3...4...5... in the movie Spaceballs.

It will be built with:
-A new TRW bolt
-Bartlein heavy stainless barrel
-McMillan M3A in GAP camo
-TRW trigger group
-Winchester op-rod
-A new in tube Winchester flash suppressor
-A unitized gas cylinder made from a new in the tube gas cylinder with a GI H&R front band

I still need to collect some miscellaneous small parts like a NM spring guide, a NM vented gas piston and a Shooting Sight trigger.

I will eventually suppress this rifle and I'm still undecided on a scope.

Tony.

You got the patience of a saint, I would have had that build complete by the 1st of October.😁

we will be lucky if that is all it costs us. guess we will find out how much control the Jews have over our gov, we'll have to see about results, the response from Iran and, esp,Russia. not much question of a hot war going forward.
if an active nuc plant is hit,i believe the fall out is pretty bad even from a conventional strike.
between this and the ongoing/future riots we are in deep shit. also wonder if Egypt,Turkey,Jordan will jump in. Syria? w.bank? Gaza?
is it PC to hope Israel get's mashed out of existence?
I have “panic fatigue”, or maybe just “give a shit fatigue”. I’m tired of all the drama. Is it so bad that I wish they would just sling the canned sunshine? 24 hours and a whole bunch of shit talkers get real quiet. The ones that aren’t glassed anyway. Very little respect given these days. Some focused bulk death would sure remedy that.

Gas Gun Groups Thread

I just noticed this thread. Mind if I play?

I shot this with my M14 the other day. 1.2 MOA at 600 yards for 11 rounds with a 10 MPH crosswind. The first six rounds probably landed within 1/2 MOA. 169 grain SMK, 42.6 grains of IMR-4064, LC cases, Remington 9-1/2 primers.
