ARC Coup de Grace Builds

Update on conical breech adapter….

Swapping to a heavier profile barrel on my CDG. Picked up a Shilen bull barrel from NSS and went to spin it on tonight. Does not headspace.

When measuring with no go gauge, it appears that the gauge sits .048” deeper into the Shilen barrel than with the shouldered Mausingfield takeoff barrel I had on before. Both the barrels are chambered in 6.5 creedmoor.

I’m going to run without the adapter and see how it feeds, but wanted to let everyone know that at least with this combination the conical breech washer prevents the Savage prefit from achieving proper headspace. YMMV.

when I was using my 6.5 creed nuke barrel on my CDG, I found that the 147eldm feed much better than the Lapua Scenar 136/139. Even the Berger 140 wouldn’t feed great unless I ran the bolt really hard.

"G" 18" SPR w/ Phased Array, back in stock

Does the gas from the 4 and 8 o'clock ports go to the gas tube? Or is it simply held in the outer barrel cuts under the gas block?
I searched a bit and G seems to not wanna give details, and people speculate both ways.
You can see where the “channel” interconnects them. So yes, they all feed / are a part of the gas system.

The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Hiss LRT good sir. The image is so much better to the eye than I can capture. Got a full video on clip ons coming out that will go from a very wide FOV unit (skeet X) all the way to a true long range unit like a HISS. Here's a little youtube short I posted yesterday. Again, way better to the eye; this is probably 50% of the actual image quality (the trigger cam does numbers to the screen resolution).

I agree with the barking dog meme. Aren't we up to approximately 182,000,012 "Breaking Bombshells" exposing the evil left's crimes now? And how many arrests/convictions much less any actual punishment? The old standard ASGH still holds true.

buddy, i just want to let you know, there is not anything that is going to happen to them. just to let you know.

just so we all know.

because we do all know.

Zermatt Orgin 6.5CM light primer strikes??? ( pic heavy) *RESOLVED*

Bit of a necro, but I have had light strikes/FTF in my Origin. 223 Wylde. Just IMI Mk262 and one lot of AAC 75BTHP.
I figured it was just the certain 5.56 factory ammo, but this thread got me to check, and sure enough my bolt handle is hitting my krg Bravo chassis.
It may only be a degree or 2 eyeballing it. Will loosen the tang tomorrow and check.
Then dremel time... hoping for good things.

I work in STEM. On my team of about 70, there are 3 white folks…..myself and two others. 1 Japanese guy. 1 Chinese guy. 4 South/Central Americans. The rest are South Asian of some variety. (About 15 are domestic) All managers, directors, and VPs are Indian — they pursued the Management ladder instead of the IC ladder. Virtually all the non-Indians are the Principal/Sr. Staff Engineers.

This is in an American company.

The one (gun) that got away

You ever pass on a gun, maybe because you were trying to be financially responsible, or to preserve peace at home, or because you thought a better one would come along, and then regret it?

I did. I'm left handed and wanted a Terminus Zeus SA. I go on gunbroker and lo and behold there is one, with several barrels and brass for cartridges I don't shoot. The price for all the stuff was quite reasonable, but I had already spent a lot on guns and didn't feel right burning that much. I reach out to the seller to see if he would sell me just the action. He says he wanted to sell as a package but if he didn't have any luck he would let me know. Check back a week later and he said the package was SPF. Good for him. Good for the buyer. Less good for me, and I have nobody to blame but myself.

So, what is the gun that got away from you. Either that you should have bought but didn't or sold and now regret?
