Tough to keep it healthy in the Oregon winter and inside, but here is a Pineapple Plant I started. I rooted a starter and transplanted it into this so It's going into it's 2nd summer right now.

Very early next spring, throw a few apple peels into the center to encourage blossoming (the pineapple). The fruit take a long time to mature. Don’t pick/cut until it starts to get yellow on the fruit. Then, depending upon how many critters are in your area, either pick it and let it ripen in a sunny window or leave it on the plant until you can smell it up close.

Either way, let it set and ripen on the counter until it’s dark yellow. Twist the top off and set it to dry for replanting and cut it up. Yum. Sweetest pineapple you’ll ever eat.

Luckiest shot was a red wing blackbird on the wing with a $25 Burgo .22 revolver.

Most memorable was the shot that filled a lifelong dream of Hunting Brown Bear on Kodiak Island. Thanks to my Coat Guard Son qualifying as a Alaska resident he was my guide. 193 yards with a semi custom Remington 700 in 35 Whelen wearing a Vortex Razor lht shooting a load I worked up using a 225 grain Barnes over Varget.

Longer range ar15 sight in distance

I zero my AR’s with dialable turrets to 100 yards. If I have a situation where I need a max point blank zero, such as for a 50/200 zero, then I just dial my 200 yard dope and leave it there. I know it might not be exactly 50/200 but you aren’t trying to shoot match sticks with a 50/200 zero either. Doing this, if I have to dial for a further range then I just dial whatever my dope is for that distance and when I don’t need the 50/200 zero then I just dial back down to my 100 yard zero.

Crushing .223 Cases

I haven't had this problem before.

Lake City 223 cases were prepped as usual, sized with a Hornady sizing die, and an expander ball. They may not have been annealed.

Nosler Custom Competition 77-grain bullets are not seating using a Hornady seating die. Comes up hard once past the boat tail and then crushes the case.

I don't trust my micrometer at the third digit after the decimal, but the bullets are measuring .2235, and the expander ball is .220.

3.5 thou plus a bit of spring back may be my problem, but I have used these dies many times before without any issues.

Does anyone have a .223 Hornady expander ball they could measure for me?

If the dies are not the problem, I will try annealing. I use a Sinclair mandrel for other calibers, but not .223. Maybe it's time to add one to the set.

Any other thoughts?

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Why do you constantly assert the Russia shooting at hardware Ukr military is placing in civilian areas is targeting civilians.

Move the shit out of civilian areas. Try parking it at military base….

puccia is obviously also firing at military targets at military bases. No one is arguing that they're not. But are you aware that russia is also already routinely launching unguided long range munitions into civilian population centers, or can puccia do no wrong?
