I have a Trijicon Tenmile HX 6-24x50 SFPAny SFP scopes for trade?
I like shooting 308. I reload 308. And that’s the only way to push and maybe keep up with 6-6.5 mm lineups is to reload them. Other than that, factory ammo 308 suck at distance.308 = GOD's caliber
That would have been the manly thing to doBut did you finish the lobster?
Lot of people still haven't figured out we've been had and that the government with Trump's help is moving us even closer to the dystopian future we have feared for decades. He does what his masters want. Not what the people want.
Correct. I’m using one I made in 2008 that uses raw aluminum half bushings. My best guess is that you aren’t using a viper barrel vice?
Ok.Trigger hanger is preferred? I would never buy an action that had one. Whenever you see people having trigger issues always seems to be a trigger hanger action a majority of the times.
most of the time I always end up at or around 55-60 in-lbs on my 700's. I have played with the torque on a few of them and different torque values will yield different results.I had a Ruger ultra-lite 257Roberts that I was having accuracy problems with. I know, what did I expect, right?
Anyway, I did the bedding and the rifle was better but not as good as I liked. All I wanted out of the rifle was something near 1MOA. It is a hunting rifle and 1MOA was more than good enough for 300yds or less.
After becoming disgusted with the rifle, I needed to ask for ideas for what could be wrong with the rifle. a forum member told me about how Rugers are very torque sensitive.
I followed the procedure of tightning the trigger guard screw to 10lbs torque and then started torquing the lug screw.
I was told to start around 25 foot pounds on the lug screw and shoot a group.
It worked. My 257 Roberts requires a torque of 15 ft lbs for the rear guard screw and 45 foot lbs for the lug screw.
Maybe checking your rifle's manufacture's torque specifications? Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree?
They should let some of those reporters from CNN, MSNBC, NPR, BBC and Al Jazira imbed with them as they deliver those loads. Then have a snafu at the destination and leave the reporters there too.I.C.E. has been operating their Alexandria Staging Facility at England Airpark, about 2,000 yards from my shop.
It serves as a major hub for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, particularly for deportation flights. Almost all of the deportations flying out of here are via four 737 contract birds chartered and crewed by the Geo Group which also supplies the personnel to run the main facility. They have already been really busy.
Tuesday I was coming through the back side of the airpark within sight of that facility. I noticed two C-17s from McChord AFB parked up on the civil air side. No biggie as that is not unusual to see Mil traffic coming through unrelated to ICE. But this afternoon, I saw crew unloading personal gear at both birds like they might be prepping to depart. Again, no biggie.
About an hour later I drive back through to find both C-17s with rear ramps down, several ICE buses, ICE personnel and groups of detainees being deported with their minimal personal belongings. I stopped to take phone pics so I could quiz a couple of buddies that are still connected there.

Here is what I was told.
The Geo Group is continuing to run four 737s with Geo Group contractors running 5 teams, 7 days a week.
In addition (here is where I was happily surprised) Military, ICE personnel and 40 US Air Marshalls TDY are running two C-130s, multiple C-17s and even occasional C-5As if the size of the load and the destination airfield can warrant it.
I had heard varying reports of Yes this was happening as well as reports of No Way are they going to use Mil assets for this job.
Considering the massive numbers of illegals being scooped up and pushed into the system by ICE across the US, there was zero chance the existing contractors could have the band width to move them out of country any time soon. So I am feeling pretty good that additional resources are being brought on line to sustain the push.
Not seeing much if anything about this in the news but they are at least trying to make things happen in spite of all the squealing and crying by the socialist public and the commie officials.
Yup, same for me for proper mixed drinks like an Old Fasioned. These cheap(ish) dark cherries from Costco are surprisingly good in mixed drinks too, but I only use Luxardo in my Old Fashioned’s.Only Luxardo for me at home. They’re worth the $20
never tried it, working in plants a millwright was a mechanic that fixed problems in a plant, if they did it wrong bad things happened.Excepting mill-writing.
The MOAB was tested at Eglin but produced at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.
Fun fact: every weekday in the town of McAlester you will hear a distant explosion right at noon. The ammo plant has to dispose of expired ordnance on pretty much a daily basis in their blast pit.
This is the mosquito born virus. Unless Bill Gates drops the genetically-engineered mosquitoes here too, like he did in Florida, are taking the flightswe should be okay.
