Brief addition to this old / sorta-resurrected thread: I have lucked into a mild, cheap 6BR load that shows amazing promise:

105gr Barnes Match Burner
29.4gr Vihtavuoru N150 --> 2770fps (28" 1:7.5 Bartlein)
CCI 450
Alpha brass (virgin and 9x-fired)

I'm getting consistent 5-shot 100-yard groups in the .3s and quite a few in the .2s, and the load holds 1/2MOA (paper target) or better at 540 yards with two Bartlein barrels - a brand-new one and an "experienced" one with 2500+ rounds on it (both 1:7.5 twist). I've shot them to 1000 - not too many yet, easy hits on full IPSCs and hits on 2-MOA plates are as good as any bullets I've tried including Berger HTs. The MBs are a bit chubby, but the matches I've been going to have been trending toward smaller 1-3MOA targets 600 yards and under so super slick bullets aren't that important.

It also helps that a buddy of mine who has gone all-in on Berger HTs and Varget has offloaded a bunch of these MBs cheap!

Another option if you want to go down the rabbit trail, is 22 hornet. Most factory rifles have slow twist barrels that aren’t very sub friendly. But if you can find a 10 twist you will have some options with 55 ish grain bullets. But a 7-8 twist is better for 70+ grain bullets

I've got a TacSol 10/22 that's setup as a super lightweight precision rifle and it has an old 4-16 Nikon Monarch on it. The 10/22 I use more often has a 1-6 Vortex Gen II PST on it. I really like LPVO setup, wish I'd had a 10/22 setup that way when I was a kid

Zero range was an absolute cluster fuck today!!! We have thousands of acres there and there was 300 people crammed into a space the size of a fucking bathroom. Literally 4-5 spots on the line a guy could zero, and was so crowded we didn't even stay for the unicorn shoot. I was so pumped about taking a shot at 3400 yards and couldn't. Barret was supposed to be letting people shoot rifles also and didn't see anyone trying them out. In his picture you can see, the only places people could shoot was between the mat and white truck, and only a couple spots could see the zero board at 100. The previous years I have been here, Friday was an absolute blast. Layout this year was fucking gay. Hopefully the match goes better the next couple days. Good luck out there!

I lived in Ecuador. Great place and awesome people. I understand things have changed since the Venezuela invasion. The Ecuadorian President Noboa is on board to start cleaning things up. I understand Eric Prince of Blackwater fame was in country a few days ago. Bet he has some ideas.

Have a new SOLGW M89 handguard coming middle of next week, was going to do it then. But curiosity got to me. Decided to take out barrel from upper today that was bedded-in with the green permatex 640. It was bedded beyond my expectations. Heavy mallet and wood dowel to break it loose, and Several 'heavy handed' blows to get driven out .
The data sheet you linked say's 24 hr. cure, But I remember when I bedded this one, and it seemed wet a long time that day.I just let it sit in the corner of the shop for few days before I even went out to sight it in.
