They no doubt are very strong, but as I learned as a stoneworker, half the battle is in knowing how to use your body, and to get proper angles and leverages. Kind of like intuitional physics. Once you do that might surprise yourself. I weigh 165 soaking wet but could move rocks easily that guys half again my size strained to do.
Then I lifted the wrong one, in the wrong way, and my buddy heard the disc pop from 15' away.
In no particular order.....
Trust the plan … arrests are coming … in two weeks … remember to use checkout code GIANTFSGGOT for your next pillow purchase. Is this the Kracken?

I had a Captain report to me that glass on the rudder trim indication on a A320 was cracked on the centre pedistal, he wondered if it had been caused by Engineering dropping gear pins on it or something. They are, but my airline had one occurrence of switches "moving" without human touch. We use a TOLD card on a pad for take off and landing data. Someone placed the pad behind the thrust levers and resting on the switches. At TOD, the thrust levers retarded, and the pressure of the pad being moved by the levers, jumped the switches over the stop, thereby shutting off the fuel. Upon realisation, got both restarted no problem, plenty of height. But to this day, I still cannot work out who the fuck thought putting the pad there even temporarily was a good idea. I've never seen it, or heard of it. I am not in any way suggesting this was involved. Just thought I'd relate a situation that noone ever thought of......
It's the kind of thing they wouldn't have expected that to be the cause of the problem though. So I can see why it would take a while.Regardless if it was suicide, how does the other pilot wait 10s before turning back on the fuel switches after asking? Was he just stunned? Thinking through the checklist?

You dont think about me at all....BUT, you took the time to write several paragraphs here, and lengthy replys to a couple of other posts I made. Sounds like I'm living in youre head, rent free. But hey, at least we both like guns.Actually I don’t think about you at all. My point is two fold.
A.) “Annoying” is subjective.
B.) Filming in public has been deemed free speech and I agree with that. There is no expectation of privacy in public spaces. Though I can see how it is “annoying” it is not illegal.
There are plenty of communist counties folks can move to where the government harasses and kills those who dare film in public.
Again, being annoying is not illegal.
Before the 2020 summer of love I had a much higher tolerance for police engaging in this type of behavior. After watching large groups of police officers stand around while cities burned, then jailing someone who tried to escape a mob running a couple over, my tolerance went through the floor.
It is still so bad Trump just had to put out an edict telling LEO to arrest those throwing rocks at federal LEO vehicles. Talk about having to state the obvious!
Cop’s need to stop acting like dicks with overactive egos and spend their time going after criminals. Citizens need to stop acting like children by asking police to deal with something that is simply “annoying”.

Well, they tried to drag Dershowitz through the mud and he at least confirmed the involvement of people he cannot name by order of a judge. I do not think that anyone of Epstein's clients will be stupid enough to paint a bullseye on their forehead by singing unless he is facing a mountain of rock solid evidence. However, that evidence has been systematically and successfully sealed and hidden for years. But when you start pushing/outing large groups like that, some lower level is always is willing to trade/rollover, then the snowball starts its roll.
Had a great time. Can’t wait till the next belly flop. -Al*Thin Lizzy's 'The Boys Are Back In Town' softly plays in the background*
Got the AWs together at the local match today. Thanks to @SingleShot85 and @Cuban_Croc for inviting me out. Its been a while since I did one of these matches, so I had to shake some rust off.
This is a prone match with stages from 500 to 1200, with targets ranging from a full-IPSC (1-point), half-IPSC (2-points), 1 MOA (4-points), .25 MOA (7-points). 4 shots per stage. My general strategy, especially with .308, is to try and go half-IPSC all the way through and hopefully catch up to guys shooting the newer PRS-style cartridges towards the end. Interestingly, the two AWs pictured here (left and right) have 6GT barrels. The one on the left is a very old 1995 model (wildly cool) and the other is a 2001 . Due to running factory GMM 175 loads today, I struggled to get the velocity needed for consistency out past 1000, but still had a great time and finished in mid-ish pack. For you TX guys here, the range is North East Texas Tactical and they do these matches every month if you ever want to come out to the DFW area.

I would take a look at the ballistics of the 45 Colt “Deer Grenade” load from Buffalo Bore.Lolwell, I’m sure you know that our white tail are big compared to say .. Texas. And with the limited caliber selection they allow us, I think 45-70 is the best choice imo. I’m open to suggestions though.
