Is Campi Flagrei about to cook off?

Interesting read but they left a lot out, to their credit though they were only focusing in the electrical transmission side. Pipe lines can have major issues, and they did not go into what transformer core saturation will do to the primary voltage at the end users location. As they have no way to clamp it. There will be many, many fires from such unless quality protection is installed redundantly,...
Well, that's sort of my concern. But other say 'nothing to see here, move along.'

So there we go!

We'll either sit in the dark eating food cooked over an open fire. Or, we won't!?

Did Hornady Change 147 ELD-M Bullet?

I wouldn't quite say significant. Berger has been very close lot to lot, while hornady is absolutely significantly different. I sold all my hornady bullets and replaced them with berger and the difference is very minor compared.
I have two lots of 105 hybrids that are .040" different in length. I emailed Berger about it and they said they dont track bullet dimensions across lots, only within a lot. They both shoot great so idc but it is strange

Sounds like everyone should be careful that they don't accidently click on something woke or faggot related.

Is Campi Flagrei about to cook off?

And all this during a solar maximum... Supposedly a coincidence. But I don't like coincidences.

An article ini Nature linked solar activity with increased plate teuctonics and vulcaniism. But the USGS or NOAA or someone wrote an article refuting it.

I wonder if their article 'refuting it' was designed to point to everything being because of climate change... not solar periods and similar effects that you can't fix by raising taxes and screaming "How Dare You."

That said, 'supposedly' the number of quakes and volcano's is right in line with 'normal numbers.' I guess that the 'normal numbers' are more interesting when they happen in Southern Europe than, say, The Philippinies or some other third world craphole.

Be interesting to do a deep dive on the statistics on this.

And despite the exhortations that 'all is well' with solar events whacking our upper Van Allen belts or whatever they are... I am not so sure!

This was interesting reading last night: https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/sites/default/files/images/u33/finalBoulderPresentation042611 (1).pdf

Is Campi Flagrei about to cook off?

Campi Flagre falls under the category of Supervolcano. No 'cone' it is a huge caldera-type.

I also remember reading that it is 'capped' by limestone from Vesuvius. Which is really famous because it is this limestone that is used to make the super-hard, super-enduring Roman Concrete that has lasted 2,000 years! Whenever it gets wet, it re-seals itself. So if there is a "Cap" made of what is, in essence, super hard Roman Concrete... then pressure may build up to the point that when it does blow it's gonna be like a pressure cooker going boom.

IIRC also, it is believed that Campi Flagre may have been the final nail in the coffin of the Neantrathal in Europe. Not sure if they have proved that, but it is a good theory.

Goldilocks centuries are great until the bears come home!
