AR10B to take Pmags?

You can use a B upper on an A lower but it will require to have someone mill away the mag stops on the interior of the receiver sides. Your friend will be better off enjoying what he has, a great but unappreciated rifle.

While mags may seem expensive to pmags they are cheap compared to KAC & LaRue metal mags. But they are on par with most mag still being made today. Plastic is cheaper to produce and won't last as long as a metal mag.

Mark 4hd tracking issue

The fact that he arrived at same “error” gives me pause. It is possible that the Leupold calibration jig is off, the fact that it was on two scopes likely bought at different times by a company known for decent scopes and a government supplier (subject to audits). These things makes me doubt the Cajun’s test measuring accuracy. A .12” error at 100 yards is easy to explain between the measurements of the 100yrds and the actual point of aim difference ( actual vs predicted). It would be interesting to if the OP tried it with know entity scope that they know is correct.

New Berger 375 bullet 410 hybrid

Nice. I talked to Aaron a few weeks ago about doing the weekend up there again this year. I guess not. Not enough interest or what? There has been almost 30 the last couple years.
I would be surprised if there were not enough interest. There might be another reason. The Deep South ELR matches are filling up 30 light gun slots within minutes of opening.

SOLD MDT ACC Elite SA700 Black

This is a brand new, in the factory boxes, MDT ACC Elite short action Rem700 chassis in black. I bought it thinking I'd use it, but decided to go a different direction. The chassis is flawless, without a mark on it. I'm asking SOLD shipped.

Please ask if you'd like to see detailed photos or would like more info.

Thanks!

Accuracy International Picture Thread

It depends, are you a Jesuit (showing me the way) or a Missionary (forcing me to convert)?

:)

I identify as neither. Many pods come and go yet the Harris still remains.

Inner peace comes from knowing that while we debate which scope or bipod is better, we all know that Nightforce and Harris are superior. Gaia said use whichever makes you happy

XM7 worries from the field.

The battles are all ultimately the same(someone has something someone else wants). They use someone to get that something.

The TTPs will change along with the delivery options and numbers of pax on each chalk/lift/pass. They may not mass in one spot like they did for ODS in the 90s, but the will have multiple staging areas for troops to move into the fight. As bad as the 16 year old chinese boy is, he can’t hit them all and definitely can’t hit them all at the same time. Plenty of well tested and reliable anti drone tech out there.

As far as indirect not being the biggest threat, wrong again. Don’t matter how good your counter battery radars and detection get, by the time the system has alerted you to a launch and sent you an estimated POO site, the round is coming and will splash. There is not enough new fangled wizardry to stop a battery of indirect rounds inbound. Take cover and hope one doesn’t impact within its kill/injure zone.

Revisiting anything combat related in a decade is useless because it will all have changed again by that time. Surely you remember the clown show transition into “COIN” ops. Suddenly shooting at Ivan on the range wasn’t the same as it was
What I'm describing is evolution. The logical conclusion is that at some point in the future, there wont even be humans on the battlefield, or at least not very many, and this becomes a war of drones and other various robots. Maybe there will be command elements nearby in hardened structures or something. That's where it all goes. The next thing that will be largely removed from the battlefield will be ground troops. This is the source of all of your casualties. With the technology available now and what's popping up every day, conventional infantry units will not produce casualties at a rate that will be acceptable to anyone when compared to their own deaths. I'm sure this information is available, but let's say today the Army is 40% infantry, (I have no idea if that's correct), but in a decade it will be 20%, and in 2 decades it will be 10%. That's my prediction.

Optics Zeiss S3 6-36x56 MOA reticle, BARELY used, 1800 shipped price drop

I don't mean to clutter your post but have been curious about this optic and it's
Jap glass, how is the clarity and color on the edges of the image, does it maintain full crisp image from the lowest zoom factor all the way to the highest or does it start to wash out as you approach the high or low extremes of its magnification (I ask because I had a v4 5-20 or 25 idr, that it's color and clarity was less than true at the upper end of magnification) also how much does it tunnel on the low end?
Ok, just took it out back and looked through it with this post in hand. It was a clear, overcast day, looking at a parking lot and cars about 800m out. Edge to edge clarity and color is surprisingly crisp. Never really tested that as I never really look there but it's clean and vivid from 6-36.
As far as tunneling on the low end, it's in my opinion that it's really not that different from high mag to low mag. The image remains pretty steady throughout. The picture in this scope to me, is the most impressive I've seen outside of a top of the tier optic. I never get to shoot at the 1000m line at dawn or dusk, but during the day there's nothing this scope would hold me back from.
