When does the winning start?

It started when we didn’t get that dumb cackling cunt in the oval office and the subhuman leftist pieces of shit had & continue to have meltdowns.
This is actually winning for the US dwellers. Here in Canukistan, there is lots of bitching because DT is making decisions that benefit the US economy. Rings pretty hollow. The question is, do I move to ND and enjoy the energy boom stateside?

Optics Advice for AR-15

For that unexpected assailant within 75 yards.
The ones that often hang out downrange at the local gun club? You'd think those guys would learn..
This is what happens when redditors buy firearms. They look up "what's hot right now" and assume that their research is solid gold for all situations. They are afraid to say "I'm a rookie and don't know diddly squat, please inform me."

Not saying you are the rookie here, Tony. Just answering your rhetorical Q!
Yeah that's what I was getting at. The amount of people that go to ranges looking all kitted out for WW3 only to plop down at a bench and not even touch any of the gadgets bolted to the rifle is pretty astounding.

No Fee for Surppressors or short barrell rifles

Why everyone ask ??? ..LOL .. will you still have to follow All the same previous ATF requirements for owning Suppressors, with still doing Prints, Photo, File Paperwork, and get 'BATF permission granted' . It Is Because it was fucking asinine that Suppressors and Short Barrel Rifle firearms were linked together as a singular goal. Suppressors are Not a Firearm, and THE ONLY THING the two have in common, is sharing of the same dollar amount charged in a Tax Fee .
And that what you fucking get in US Government Politics when professional politicians, and lawyers write nonsensical legislation using Mufflers, and Firearms in the same sentence .
.
We err when believing they are dumb. They are cunning calculating psycho pieces of used dog food. Nothing they do is accidental. That’s why the clear eyed are such proponents of one way helo rides.

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

No need to argue, that is the way it is. Registration remains.

HPA and SHORT were blocked.

  • $200 tax stamps for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs reduced to $0 starting January 1, 2026.
  • NFA process and registry remain—for now. Forms, fingerprints, and approvals still required.
  • Full deregulation (HPA & SHORT) was blocked by the Senate Byrd Rule.
  • Senate compromise: Free tax stamps, but not full removal from the NFA.
I’m looking ahead to the continued fight to remove silencers and short things.

“See, no tax. No no registration.”

“No, the tax remains. It’s just a $0 tax. Registration remains…”

Well, this is what happens when you try to be all inclusive to anybody that wants to be in your club. What % of women supported this movement and are now seeing what it is? I can assure you, the women born before WW2 (most are passing) would not have been in favor of any of this - those that were true trailblazer...working as doctors, pharmacists, riveters, metalurgist, etc.

This exposes what's been happening since the 60's. Though, this Culture-Rot accelerated in the 90's...went full bore nutso when we were a colony of Kenya.
Educated western women yearn to commit societal suicide. It completes their victim hood.

Any mountain bikers out there 2.0

Has anyone rode a bike with a Pinion gearbox? They look pretty cool and pairing it with a belt drive seems to make the drivetrain bombproof and almost maintenance free

I have, a few years ago. Great in concept but meh in execution / actual use. The generation I rode would not shift under load basically at all. Maybe they are better now, I don't know. Belts are great but not better than chains IMO. They have to be tensioned pretty high which adds drag / drops efficiency (very very bad in my world), they can be cut by rock impacts (but I guess chains can break, however my last broken chain was in the early 2000 or maybe even late 90's, so not really a thing anymore), belts get noisy in dry dusty conditions (water helps but not for long in those conditions). In my humble opinion a pinion drive is a solution looking for a problem, same with all variations of electronic drivetrains (except in a few specific use cases). I have owned everything from 3X7 Shimano to 12 speed XTR, XX1 Axis and Transmission, Red XPLOR 12 speed, etc (haven't tried the wireless Shimano yet but the paint isn't dry on it yet) and I choose to run mechanical XO1 Eagle. It is lighter, less expensive not if but when I break it or wear it out (I go through at least 1 cassette, 2 chainrings, and 2+ chains a year at minimum). Do the math on mechanical eagle vs transmission and then compare the weight of the two groups. Nevermind I never have a battery die on a ride, have to charge batteries, or worse have a communication issue. My mechanical shifts quicker and much more reliable than any electronic drivetrain especially after it's nasty because I can finesse it if need be.

So I guess you could say I'm not a fan...

When does the winning start?

Trump is not perfect, but he is the perfect person for our time. He knows how to get things done, and he knows what we are all up against. In 5+ months he has made great strides, and every week our side is getting stronger. Not many persons would have faced all that lawfare, come out on top, and have energy left to campaign and win.
